  • It took me so long to figure out that talking to your anxiety, and opening up a conversation with it instead of being afraid of it leads to amazing self discoveries!

    I went to hell and back again on my mental health journey, and genuinely believing that I had to suffer for the rest of my life. Until one day I got SO SICK of my experience that I decided to try something new.
    I started to go within, and ask new questions. Instead of being AFRAID of my anxiety, I started to shift my perspective to 'what is my anxiety trying to teach me about myself?"
    After I started doing this, my entire life started to shift and change. I realized that I had no mental fortitude or discipline. That my thoughts were controlling me instead of me controlling them.
    At the time I didn't even know that it was possible to start changing your mind, to start viewing your anxiety and depression in new ways. and it is! Shifting my perspective has saved my life, and I couldn't be more thankful.
