I'm impressed, you are one of the few you know their facts about this great ship. You remember seeing the torpedo plane, that's what really did the Bismarck in. The torpedo destroyed the ruder so the ship couldn't escape. In the end it was the crew that sank the ship and of the 2,000 crew members only 115 survived, very sad.

Fun fact: The captain of the fishing boat with the watch wasn't a sailor on board the Bismarck but he is the son of one of the last survivors who passed away in 2018

You know how refreshing it is to watch someone who actually know history talk about it. Most know nothing. Much respect to you. Love from Sweden

There was actually a german U-Boot (U 556) present at the final battle of the Bismark, but it didn't have any torpedos or enough fuel left, so it couldn't do anything and the crew had to watch the Bismark sink. It was also noticed by the british ships, so they had to stop saving the crew of the Bismark.

Thank you to World of Warships for creating the amazing battle scene for this video. All the ships and fighting were created using CGI, then used Live Action actors placed into the scene. This is just one example of some of World of Warship's amazing battle scenes they can make. BTW- World of Warships is a free to play warship game. You can see more of the Bismarck in their mini documentary too called Naval Legends.

You are a well eduated women, with a great taste of music. The elderly man at hte beginning is a descendant of the seaman rewsued at the end of the Video, he had gotten the Compass of the Captain, an collecting memorabilia

Don‘t know if anyone noticed but the turrets are mounted in shafts on massiv ball bearings and when we can see the ship rolling over you can actually see the turrets falling out and still to this day they are about 300meters+ of distance away from the ship on the ocean floor...

The last survivor of the Bismarck died 1 year before this vid released. The office memorabilia and compass belonged to him. The fishing boat skipper is his son.

Another great reaction video! I'm such a huge fan of history, especially WW2 naval history, probably a bit too much - I have built and painted over 200 1/700 scale model ships so yeah, a bit of an obsession, lol. I love your passion for music AND history! And it's nice to hear a non-American view on historical events - it gives better insight to how events are perceived around the world.
