Yes it can be! Luxury can become a huge money pit if we are not smart about it. Now the number of items and which items will always depend of someone wealth of course. But I so often see young people having more luxury items than me at 50 and they don’t even own a house and you can tell they are really just starting in life. I mean people do what they want at the end of the day but it might be something they will regret at some point in their life. To me luxury should be bought when it’s not a big brainer in a budget and all the other more important aspects are well covered. I might be old school about it though. 😂

Yes I so agree with you! I know people can do what they want with their money but it is smart to save money and only buy luxury when one can truly afford it. I am so happy to have like minded friends like you do. The goal should be make money and save money so I can later do the things I like and not to struggle with money. Thank you as always for your inputs, I appreciate it. 😃

yes, i think it is, however to have just a few pieces to spice up one 's life is really ok. if someone is wise enough to pick the right bag and get to actually use it all the time and that would really be justified.
just so happen that most of the luxury handbags or items will decrease in price if it s worn , the more u use it the more it drops in value.
not only moderation is the way out, buying preowned items definately saves so much that you only paying the amount of money for just an expensive hand bag but not a luxury one
say, paying $8000 for a preowned birkin and buying it brand new for $150000 ( at resell shops ) will $8k be considered to be a very huge amount?? i guess not too bad.
