You keep this up! This was very educational and helpful for me as I don't have time to do this type of testing for my device. Thank you, you earned a subscribe thumbs up. I'll even search for your social!🎉
Big problem with the video. You are making me want to spend 800 dollars! lol I wish they offered more for my Rog Ally trade in. I think its 230 but I gave 599 for it. Maybe I should ebay it. The biggest downside of the first Ally is that short battery life.
My biggest problem with my ally is it sucks when it comes to fighting games like streetfighter six I get so many wrong presses. That’s why I want the X apparently the pad is phenomenal
For some reason RSR confuses me. When you activate RSR @17:57 , is the device resolution still set at 720p or do you set the device resolution to 1080p, then change to 720p, via the in-game menu? Thanks.
Set the device res to 1080p. Launch the game, change game res to 720p. Exit the game, activate RSR from the command center, then relaunch the game. RSR needs to be activated before launching the game.
Whey can't they make handheld which can play all aaa games straight out of box without have to change all these settings.. is it so hard to make a handheld atleast with the power of xbox series s
That’s not an issue with handheld PCs; it’s just how PC gaming works. There are basically infinite PC setups, so it’s not possible for developers to preset the optimal settings for everyone. However, most of the time, you can jump right into a game without changing anything, but you almost always have the option to tweak the settings to your preference. The benefit of a console is that everyone has the same hardware, so developers optimize games specifically for it, making it a plug-and-play solution. You just jump in and start playing. The Steam Deck is starting to get similar treatment, with games like The Witcher and Cyberpunk 2077 offering a preset specifically for the Steam Deck, so you can just click that and be good to go
I liked afmf2 but my ally was extremely buggy I had to go back to old drivers it was driving me nuts. Afmf2 would kick in and out a bunch and my command center wasn't working right. Ill wait for actual release on armory crate. Afmf2 has potential though and I think it will be pretty good once the bugs are worked out.
i would say it feels a bit more premium yes. I hear what you mean about the Ally.. i still like the feel of the Steam deck more but the Ally X feels good.
just gotta make sure the game settings are all right you have to be in fullscreen and no vsync and stuff like that might just have to keep trying till you see it kick on.
i have been neglecting my poor OLED SD... I find it frustrating when i want to quick jump in a game for like a 10min session when half that time is taken up just getting the thing to turn on and get into a game.. so that makes me miss the SD but the performance is insane now with AFMF 2 its kind of hard not to pick it up and play on it.
@@BroHazeman I hear you. you are the first to say anything about it but i agree 60fps would be great.. but i can't stand 1080p with so much fine detail needed in the videos so ill keep doing 4k and some day ill get a camera that will do 4k 60 and all will be well in the world.
Your video definitely stand out from the rest. Please do this video for rift apart. Also do you know when AFMF 2 is coming out, full release?

Switch 2 I think didn't need to change settings much. I also didn't likes always change settings

yeah it will be great to have an official release
Why are there black borders ?
Does the Ally X feel better in the hands than white one? I felt the white one at Best Buy and it felt so cheap and plasticy.. like a kids toy..
definetely. i have both. allyx feels much more premium

Installed, but the frame gen lag from overlay stats amd is N/A, but yours is showing, any idea ?

@@nophacetech yes, settings fine, fps double, but still no data , oh well as long it works, tq for reply :)
I tried using the afmf 2 from the asus command center overlay but it won’t enable. Does it have to be done from the amd software?
yeah i add the game to the amd software and then you can set what you want enabled in the amd software.
Can you make a tutorial for this ?@@nophacetech
Nice toy 🧸! Wish upgrade oled 8” screen and 64gb ram 😁

Next NBA2K25 Gameplay
Can you do a how to install amfm2?
i might keep an eye out. if it uninstalls again haha ill film the reinstall.
Your TH-cam video just in 30fps, no 60fps !!!
My camera doesn't shoot in 60fps unfortunately 😭 hopefully I can upgrade to get that because that would be far more helpful haha
@@nophacetech maybe you focus more on 4k than 60fps. I think for video about handheld gameplay prefer 1080p60fps than 4k30fps. Ok
