This setup looks very capable, footage is very nice, sharp and it handled that harsh sunlight pretty well! I've always had a soft spot for the white versions sony has released. Just looks very sharp and clean!

Yeah, I’m pleasantly surprised. It took some tuning, and will probably need more to really get sorted, but it’s almost all the way there. as noted in the video, it is a pretty good apology for some of the mk1’s issues.
The storm trooper white build is pure catnip. My dealer says it’s much more of an East Asian proclivity, but I’m here for it.
It does require more upkeep to stay white, but that’s just some windex away.

Observing majority of camera types going extinct in recent years was sort of weird. I got one of those big-sensor compact ones couple years back for my youtube crap (G7X II) and seems this class is gone for good too now. If my Canon goes (and it's feeling a bit funny in the zoom lever lately) those mirrorless Sony thingies may be among very few remaining options.

@@ZeeKat yeah, phones have largely taken the market for anything MFT and below. Crop and full frame are still ok, especially in Sony E. join us!

The real cost-center revealed. It’s not the bodies it’s the glass 😅

@@POVwithRC yea I'm not a big photography person but I had some second hand contact with "I should buy an L-lens" or "lets check how the Soviet ones work thru an adapter" situations

Thanks for the demonstration. How do the buttons feel on the ZV-E10.2 compared to the original? The un-dampened feel of the buttons was one of my only complaints about the original. Thanks.

Very welcome. Buttons are… well, they are indeed buttons. There isn’t a lot of tactile satisfaction.

Thanks for the reply. I've got one on the way and feeling iffy. BTW, and I mean this in the best way, you have an unusual channel. Like, niche-within-a-niche kinda unusual. Love it. Subbed. Greetings from New Jersey.

      Very welcome.
I think you’ll probably be fine with the mk2. Or maybe you won’t. Return policies are awesome!
I really appreciate the recognition and the sub. This is something that I started during the pandemic. Lots of empty places back then. Not many people look for this sort of content and not many make it. I keep going because it’s nice therapy to go for walks and show people things that they may not be able to see in person.
If you like this sort of content, try Rambalac or Virtual Japan. Both heavy hitters
