This zve10 II records great :) I love SONY cameras. Great video. Best regards
@@Virtual_Ambient Best to you as well. I think it's a really great update to the first generation. There might be marginally better for the same money but nothing as "set it and forget it" good as this.
@@POVwithRC I would choose FX30 :), but this one also records great, the same sensor
For 60p, FX30 is a joy. I'll also say that the FX30 meters scenes better than the ii. The ii seems to try to find faces and middle points then wildly shifts exposure to compensate. The FX30 and 3 have a better handle on auto exposure. It's hard to explain but once you see it you can't unsee it.
@@POVwithRC I'll buy an FX30 someday:) I don't know when but I'll buy it. But it's great that Sony releases alternatives to the flagship models. Best regards, have a nice day.
Damn that's deep Alexa, play Serial Experiments Lain
As someone who shot on sony apsc 8bit for a while, the capability of 10bit color on the newer apsc cams has been world changing. This E10 II looks like very capable little cam. Im very excited for the future of Sony apsc!
It's really quite good. Give any of the 10-bit cams good class and a creative vision, you can't lose.
I believe my 11mm lens is going bad. Look at how it handles pinpoint light sources. I don't remember dropping it but I may well have in the time I've owned it.

@@POVwithRC Thanks for sharing the videos of Herr Hiss. 😺

Your content on this channel is unique. I picked up the 14mm GM, FX30 and RSMX from watching these videos. The gear was put to night tests like no other. Some of Canada's history will certainly have this place to be thankful. Living in a popular city like Los Angeles would have afforded you a longer run. Thanks for the time you invested and best of luck.
Least I could do. I’m glad you’ve got the gear you wanted based on my testing too ☺️☺️☺️. I agree. Edmonton is only so large and unlike a world city I think nobody goes out of their way to really look up videos of this place. If I were in Japan or Europe things might do better. You are very welcome. I’d recommend hitting the bell so when I do upload special stuff you can get told that it exists
@@POVwithRC Japan or Europe?!?! Yes, video tours there would be nice. Maybe if you vacation there in the future. I've had the bell clicked since subscribing a long time ago around the time you showcased a set of binaural earphones:)

😊
Lots of sweet rides. It's very cool to see cars from vastly different eras all in one place like that right next to each other. I enjoyed the interviews, too. Volvo 1800 is my sentimental favorite. Pleasant surprise! (Now you know I watched the whole video lol.)
Ikr? Car shows like this are exhibitive of a real social common thread situation. Enthusiasm and proximity are really the only requirements to have a good show. The old Volvo was fire. I want an 1800 one day. He's a great owner too. I appreciate you watching all the way to the end 😊. I recently drove my slightly newer 1971 volvo on a 3200 km roadtrip. You can find it on my automotive channel. th-cam.com/video/jWOoy2BaVcU/w-d-xo.html
@@POVwithRC Sweet! I'm there!
Have fun. It was a few part series. The old girl did AMAZING
Very immersive; like I was really there. Nice.
Many such videos ☺️. Welcome to a weird niche.
This setup looks very capable, footage is very nice, sharp and it handled that harsh sunlight pretty well! I've always had a soft spot for the white versions sony has released. Just looks very sharp and clean!
Yeah, I’m pleasantly surprised. It took some tuning, and will probably need more to really get sorted, but it’s almost all the way there. as noted in the video, it is a pretty good apology for some of the mk1’s issues. The storm trooper white build is pure catnip. My dealer says it’s much more of an East Asian proclivity, but I’m here for it. It does require more upkeep to stay white, but that’s just some windex away.
Thanks for the demonstration. How do the buttons feel on the ZV-E10.2 compared to the original? The un-dampened feel of the buttons was one of my only complaints about the original. Thanks.
Very welcome. Buttons are… well, they are indeed buttons. There isn’t a lot of tactile satisfaction.
Thanks for the reply. I've got one on the way and feeling iffy. BTW, and I mean this in the best way, you have an unusual channel. Like, niche-within-a-niche kinda unusual. Love it. Subbed. Greetings from New Jersey.
Very welcome. I think you’ll probably be fine with the mk2. Or maybe you won’t. Return policies are awesome! I really appreciate the recognition and the sub. This is something that I started during the pandemic. Lots of empty places back then. Not many people look for this sort of content and not many make it. I keep going because it’s nice therapy to go for walks and show people things that they may not be able to see in person. If you like this sort of content, try Rambalac or Virtual Japan. Both heavy hitters
Observing majority of camera types going extinct in recent years was sort of weird. I got one of those big-sensor compact ones couple years back for my youtube crap (G7X II) and seems this class is gone for good too now. If my Canon goes (and it's feeling a bit funny in the zoom lever lately) those mirrorless Sony thingies may be among very few remaining options.
@@ZeeKat yeah, phones have largely taken the market for anything MFT and below. Crop and full frame are still ok, especially in Sony E. join us!
@@POVwithRC for now at least I'm free of rabbit hole of lens browsing lol
The real cost-center revealed. It’s not the bodies it’s the glass 😅
@@POVwithRC yea I'm not a big photography person but I had some second hand contact with "I should buy an L-lens" or "lets check how the Soviet ones work thru an adapter" situations
Good to see people keeping cars from the 90's alive and well. My 1998 gmc 1500 jusf got a full rebuild plus a rad and block flush. Those old 5.0 V8 vortec engines can haul anything. I miss obs but I am glad to see lots of them still on the road. Hopefully before the end of the summer we get some body putty on it to cover up some of the rust spots.
@@thejayman1886 I'm a big fan of people who keep old metal on the road. They are the most environmentally friendly, because they didn't have to manufacture a new car and waste a bunch of energy. Keep that 1500 alive. I had a 98 Tahoe with the same vortec plant and it was thrifty and pretty quick for its size too. GL with Rust!
@@POVwithRC thanks man much appreciated. If I ever meet you I owe you one of my home made beers. The rest is what killed the obs. I have 350,000 kms on it and she still runs and drives a lot better than these new trucks. Keeping classics alive is important for preservation. Have a good one bro.
I'm making this public today as the news of the wildfire taking part of the townsite makes me think people should see what the area looked like before the worst possibilities became more likely than not. I was never happy with the footage so kept it unlisted. But this is better than nothing I think.
💪💪💪💯
So it is gimbal + internal stabilization?
Usually. I'll occasionally turn it off entirely but it's not very good with the small Zhiyun. Std stabilization plus gimbal is the best. Active tends to 'stick' and then tear away
@@POVwithRC That’s very helpful. Thanks for sharing!
You bet ☺️ I'm glad someone finally asked
Very steady! I have a Sony a6400 myself for primary filming.
I think I found you on one of the camera channels! I started on the 6400 and I think it's the best of the generation. No ibis but many Sony lenses had in lens stabilization to make up for it. Color science isn't important for vlogs and day in the life stuff. Glad you enjoyed the view. Last week I published a walk up to the falls and it was lovely too. The FX30 is a fine camera. If you ever upgrade, go to it!
@@POVwithRC is it HDR10?
It can do HDR/HLG but to be absolutely honest TH-cam has never once consistently accepted or properly delivered any BT2020 uploads I have made so I gave up and just film in 709 or log to 709 🥲

Any time. Let me get eaten by bugs so you don't have to. Also, shameless self promotion, my car channel is doing better than this one 😂 th-cam.com/video/k05bf6oxfq4/w-d-xo.html
@POVwithRC Good job! Nice to see the frequent uploads! Been in a bit of a creative rut myself, im wanting to do some car stuff myself, just gotta find some folks who love their cars!
I know that feel. This whole channel is in a rut, me along with. The views are just not there to regularly put the time in and once my scheduled uploads finish, I may just go dormant. I made the decision to meet potential audiences where they are this season, and cars/events are that thing. Go visit some shows. Take your camera. Talk to people about their cars. Let me know how it goes.
Nice night walk, winter atmosphere😀
☃️ It's a total treat to see. Maybe less of a treat to be in.
That crystal clear at night is absolute madness. What would a setup to duplicate this cost roughly?
Hey, saw you at ADL yesterday. Truck continues to look swell. Happy and healthy and in its lane! It's a bit costly but less costly that my other BIG setup. If you found it all used a couple grand or so. New, a grand more than that. Consider the quality versus the best iPhone that costs the same, though. You'd not get this out of such a handset. FX30 Sony 11mm F1.8 Zhiyun Crane M3S You might want to try before you buy. Or just use as needed. I tend to run weekend deals for gear if you want to rent for Sat/Sun.

Great night walk😀,, I gave up on the FX30 ,My money is tight at the moment and bought DJI Pocket 3. I'll see how it works at night.
Thanks 😁. Yeah, times are tight everywhere. I absolutely feel like the Pocket 3 is a very good middle ground. During the day it is as good as a larger sensor, at night only marginally worse. Just keep the iso low and embrace the blacks 😊
@@POVwithRC 😀👍

Quite frankly, I think this lens is really good. Ofcourse there are better ones which are expensive but this is just fine for someone starting out. Thanks for the video.
It's ok. Sony has been making this lens for over a decade. Fair to say you know what you are getting. Good but not perfect. Very welcome 😊
👉 'promo sm'
Awesome footage!! Do you think this would be a good camera to use when I perform at nightclubs as a DJ for my sets which usually go for 1-2 hours?
I think so! Keep the iso low and use a faster lens and you can't go wrong. You can probably split your booth audio right to the camera for an easy stream too. As an aside, I used to have a residency way back in the day. Lots of lounge and martini bar tier house for the business crowd. I wish we had livestreaming with ease a decade ago.
@@POVwithRC awesome! It wouldn’t be for live streaming but more for video content for social media. Do you think the camera would be okay and not overheat in a club environment?
@@closerau I really doubt it would overheat. I've done 95 degree days in the sun with it. A club can be hot but it's not in the sun spicy.
@@POVwithRC oh that’s good then. Would the kit lens be okay for now? Otherwise the other option is the DJI pocket 3 but I feel that might be a little too fragile?
@closerau Pocket 3 is a neat thing, I want one, but it's prooobably not going to do well with low light. Kit lens is fine, but you'd do best to spend the extra couple hundo for a used sigma 16mm F1.4. The iso performance on the kit lens is what you see in this video. If the club is darker, get a faster lens.
I have no compelling counter-examples. The motion passes. It is the most amazing carwash.

I don't know much about filming equipment but this video looks great and stabiliser is top notch! 👌
😊 Thank you! It's a good setup. It's a camera used for Hollywood stuff. It's a pity nobody really watches, but I still make the stuff even if it's just for me.
@@POVwithRC it probably is quite a small niche I guess 🤔 at least I'm sure Rudolf will become famous anytime soon 😼
