I've recently started a new role (1.5 months). I'm not loving it. It is still a step up from my previous role and previous employer. I work with a micromanager who will be leaving on materity leave soon. I just need to hold out until then so I can run the workflow my way.
I honestly would love to do this.. my mental health has been horrible being here but I’m extremely scared with no backup job and the job search has been horrible for me.
I hate the actual work I do and the kind of clients I have to talk to in this type of work; the work and those people annoy me every day. I don’t mind my coworkers/boss and the other departments I work with. I don’t mind the 9-5. So I’m trying to change jobs within my building and go to a completely different department. I honestly have no idea what I even want to do.. I feel burnt out altogether.

Now that the client part got better, I’m having an issue with my bosses that are so needy. I’ve never worked for someone who can’t do anything at all/ doesn’t know how to use technology and unwilling to learn so I have a whole new plate of stress on my hands. I’m confused how they even made it to their high rank when they can’t do things for themselves. Guess the perfect job doesn’t really exist lol.

But I really want to change my job where I can work with English native clients earning more money than now, because I work for Spanish speakers
I made a job change. I loved the people at my previous employer and should have explored options longer. I make more money but, I am miserable. These are great tips! I will think critically before accepting a new position.
I love my current job but no scope for much progression, I think now it's high time to look for better opportunities and a healthy work environment. Always appreciate great tips from your videos and try to implement those !
What is important to me in a job, • steadfast/stable where I can easily develop a daily routine (with minor fluctuations in basic tasks). Same work hours. Predictable. I’m great at repetition, and improving what I do each time, the longer I do it. • A job that I can progress in, through continuing education and in rank (climbing the “corporate ladder”) • Nice people • The work is mostly independent from others where I do not heavily rely on others and they don’t rely on me except for some support. I’m a good team player but I get annoyed when others don’t do things the way they should • A great leader, fair/unbiased, values the way we do things (technique and mindset) more than only results or budget. • Basically that things are done correctly in well designed processes, we are in compliance with laws (a given) and our goal is to improve as time goes on as a company. • Actions that improve company morale (taking days off at appropriate times of year, excellent training program for new hires, prevent burn out, etc)

So many people are actually quitting right now! For sure, you need to get clear about what's working and not working with your current job before you decide to quit. Otherwise, you risk getting into the same mode at some point down the road.... And now seems to be a great time to potentially make a move, with so many people resigning, creating a labor shortage in many areas and industries. That creates opportunities for people to leverage- if they know how to take advantage of it of course!
Idk what to do my reason to consider quitting my job is my social anxiety that got out of hand completely, but my job options are limited and i think am on the best option now I would love to make a career shift but i can't afford that in many levels now even though the idea makes me excited I don't want to leave because of my social anxiety but at the same time the job threw me way out of my comfort zone and so suddenly that i completely shut down, and seeking help is surprisingly not as easy as i thought it should be in 2021

Can you help me in my situation, I'm a Filipino and I was referred by my sister-in-law to a work from home Finance company (I'm from a customer service background) . I know almost all Filipinos have toxic work ethics. But this is an Australian company, 70% of VAs are Filipinos. When I haven't finished a task yet, she posts my task in our group 11 people about what I need to do. And then when I clarify something with her in a personal message, she posts again in the group elaborating all of the details. She's the kind of person who is busy and doesn't want to ask her about anything because she has her own work. She doesn't want to be disturbed even if she's one room away from me. I have a talk with my supervisor tomorrow what should I say to her in terms of the asking if a permanent role is an option?
I would simply raise it with your supervisor. Mention that you enjoy working there and talk up your achievements and then ask them if they plan on making your role permanent or you could even suggest they create a whole new role for you within the company. Allow them some time, ask again after two weeks (possibly). If they make you permanent, great! If they can't give you an answer then start looking for another job outside the organisation. Use this job to get experience, beef up your cv and don't settle.
