When I first saw this movie on TV, I missed the beginning and shipwreck scene, and _just_ arrived at 8:57. I assumed Rainsford was climbing the rocky shore right after his "departure-from-yacht" swim. For those who read the story, do you think the climbable terrain here looks like the one from the story? Also, when I saw the beginning on TH-cam, I was hit with confusion about 3:07. If that's the case, why would the captain still be worried? From what they can tell, "never up to date" explains the mismatching lights. I feel like the captain didn't have a logical rebuttal.
Excellent movie. The post, though, has a couple audio dropouts.

I recommend the remake "A Game of Death". It's on TH-cam
