This is a great start for the next "Speed" version. give a ~300hp engine with the awd and a manual. I would buy it in a heartbeat.

ayy lmao people need to forget about the stupid speed, it will never happen again ever, mazda doesnt give a shit about you want, they care about sales and offering bmw look for the average joe, they will add turbos just like the did, but no more speed probably cause sounds like a fast and furious shit from the 2000s, they're over that shit, theyre catering towards people who buy bmws, not the 18 year fast and furious speed kid

This is such a beautiful hatch I hope mazda builds a turbo AWD version.

I think this is one of the best Mazda 3 reviews on TH-cam right now because he covered a lot that others did not mention. Any idea when the CX30 is coming to Canada?
CX-30 is coming in January, I am on the waitlist. It will be a fully equipped model with no options. so I was told by my dealership.
Correction: It's not panoramic sun roof. Just a regular standard moon roof.

Great review Brian. I got a Sport GS AWD with Luxury package 2 weeks ago. Love it! Well, it's now in the body shop...I am the first owner of the new generation in my area that had an accident! :(
I was at no fault but i will miss the car while it's being repaired...easily 5k of damage!
I did buy some 18" mags with Kumho Ecsta for it because the stock 16" 205 are just ridiculous for 30k!

My buddy just got one of these and I was shocked how gorgeous it was. Interior is so nice, soft touch leather everywhere very classy. This does not feel like an entry level car. Just needs a 150 more horsepower version 😃

That back end is just funny looking. The sedan looks great, but the hatch shape was definitely better in the last generation.
Im kind of in agreement. When I first saw it at the reveal, it really struck me as odd, the more I see it, it does grow on you. Will have to see in a year or two how it holds up.
It would probably look more sporty and serious if they made a slightly bigger, more pronounced spoiler with a matching gray color.

@@EverydayReviews2022 Actually, if you trace the basic "3" back through the Protege, 323, GLC.... it may, in fact, be 7th or even 10th!
The last gen protege/323/familia was 8th gen, and since the 3's are considered the same platform by Mazda, this would be 12th gen.

My take on Mazda is that you could always know exactly where they were going to rust everytime.

Yes it is. Just not available in some combinations like the red, titanium or blue exterior colours.

I live in Canada and just purchased a 2021 Mazda 3 Sport GT with the red interior, I believe the red interior is only available for the GT model and it's only available with select exterior colors.
Put that interior in the new Mazda 6 and I'm sold

Iv had both and I like the luxury feel of a bigger sedan than the three plus I'm not a huge fan of this models hatchback
They lure you in with their cheap car and up sell you with bigger car... Just make RX coupe alright... with hybrid...

Just beware the auto-Brake...it about killed me in traffic last week. Thank God it didn't happen during high speed. Now there's a recall on it but they won't let you disable the auto-Brake.

Just a month ago I rented a mazda 3 2015 and drove 10 hours a day, 100km/h most of the time, plus some mountain road. Back to town only cost me 80 bucks to fuel up.....normally my accord v6 would be like 120+...it is so fuel efficient

Toyota VVTi and Honda Vtec had a extra part that make the car used less fuel in low speed and more in high.. Mazda don't had patent so they 2 engines that make MAX power and one that had lower hp so they don't have to infringement their competitors...
I won't buy Mazda until it has 2 doors... Civic or Collara would be better choice..

Its not for fast driving. Its a perfect day to day use. Very safe and beautiful. Just buy a weekend car for the fun :)

Veloster Nis a great choice. So much fun to drive, the only thing that gets me is the lack of an extra door on the one side. Two different vehicles though. Mazda for AWD though.
I personally dislike the way hatch looks, I hope they bring the red interior into the sedan version and a grand touring option with 200+ horsepower.

The "afterthought" screen is the only thing I absolutely hate. However, it's not a deal breaker.
Get used to it. Almost everyone’s doing it. That’s why I liked the fact that they actually created a stylish frame around it unlike some that look like they’re really just dropped in.

2WIREG wrong class bud. My mid level Preferred trim 20 3 hatch was bought for well under 30k. 0-60 in 6.9 sec. Paying an extra 12k to get another hatchback that knocks a second or two off that is just stupid. Plus the Mustang GT fan boys will still leave you in the dust. You do you though.
They look of a Lexus with the durability of a Ford. Everyone should have to pass a course on automotive so they know how to hate car brands correctly. Only problem with mazda is oil leaking turbos (affects every automaker) and rust. Old mazda used to rust easy. A few parts in the new one rust. But they are very good about fixing problems quickly and not continue the flaw. That is why mazda went from an economy car with good steering to something that looks like a Lexus, drives like a BMW, and holds together like a toyota....or Ford.
good thing this car has no turbos! I heard about premature rust on a couple parts but I also heard they make no hassle about it (the downside of the Koreans).
