I feel like Kid could be such a great character if he had the time that a character like Law had. It's a shame that the series is coming to an end, I'd love to see more side characters get the development they deserve.

@Venus Well, we all know not to trust Oda with dates and years. Especially with the ending of One Piece
I truly cannot imagine how Oda didn't have Kidd, Law, Bonney, and Drake in mind originally. they're incredibly important charachters at this point(though drake the least so)
We dunno what he is on about but the fact that he showed up so late and still doesn't tell others the truth makes me believe there's gonna be more on his side
To be fair, he may have had the idea of some characters being doing those things but hadn't given them names and faces just yet (or decided to cut them out and insert the Supernovas instead).
I thought Kidd was the only one he actually did plan and the rest were improved?
@@seankoas I think one out of the 11 were already planned but I'm not sure. The rest were created while or right before he started drawing the manga because he said otherwise saboady would be too boring. That's why law was originally evil
The whole idea of supernovas was improvised though as he got recommend to add rivals for luffy by his editors but obviously thats developed into something new with them now all being fleshed out characters like years.
I have a feeling that there actually might be a deeper story waiting for Kid cuz I think somewhere a long time ago Oda said that Kid was one of his favorite supernovas and considering he's been included more and more into the story and even getting a pretty deep and emotional discovery of killer and the torture he endured at wano turning them both into pariah type figures makes me think that there's more in store for them, but only Oda knows that for now.
Yet Oda believed he already name dropped and explained his devil fruit in the story already, so I'm not to sure about it...

I actually forgot that Caribou is on egg head until you mentioned him. I wonder what he's up to at the moment, maybe deactivating some security systems? I like to think it was a complete accident as he was trying to find a way to leave.

Caribou could literally be the most overpowered character in the show if he finds a way stores elements (fire,water,earth,lightning,wind,ect) and use his DF to control the elements Avatar State Style. All he would need is two things: Vegapunk and his DF.
I wanna think Guernica lived long enough to take the photo and saw the results of his actions.
And then super died.
The only thing that would make it better is that Luffy took a selfie and the WG assumes Guernica is still alive.
Honestly, I look at the mask and it looks like the eye has a lens, so I am just assuming that his mask had a prototype recording and transmission function that let the WG see the fight after he died.
They probably will delve more into kid during Elbaf arc
Honestly, I hope they show Kid's backstory in the manga, not just in the SBS. Sounds pretty badass.
I really don't get why the anime staff don't take these SBS stories, and use them as inspiration for filler episodes (when they are necessary)
Why bother when they don't adapt most of the cover stories.
Probably cause a lot of the SBS are things Oda made up on the spot or to be funny. This one feels like was something planned out that he decided to scrap for the sake of finishing in the time limit he’s set for himself. Honestly it would probably make a great gang war movie

Well there's always hope that Kid gets a novel about his backstory and his crew's, similar to how Law got one
He’s gonna get backstory in elbaf oda done the same thing for law In a sbs I think it was like a quick structure of his story I think shanks may even play a slight role along with vegapunk kid disliked shanks before he even took his arm it states this in a virve card it’s more than that
I’m hoping Kidd will be as important in Elbaf and Law was in Dressrosa.

What if the person who killed Victoria had links with Shanks crew, im gonna blame Rockstar cause he is the newwest rookie lol, and he may have been part of the gang that killed Victoria and thats why Kidd confronted the Redhair pirates and lost his arm.
for someone who had exceeded luffy's bounty pre-time skip and looks so violent and arrogant and has conqueror haki , yet no other form of haki was developped from him to an advanced level like luffy , it's quite a shame to be honest , i was hoping to see some attack of his devil fruit combined with a good mastery of haki , yet he got just an awakening of his devil fruit which is pretty impressive to defeat big mom , but i feel like his full potential wasn't properly used
he had exceeded luffy's bounty post time skip too, its always weird to me though how he could simply throw huge amouns of metal and steel towards big mom and hurt her... I BET he used armament along with his metals each just that he got the pre time skip treatment with no black imbued parts but still existant, oda should talk about that
He didn't solo big mom tho. Law helped alot in that fight. Law is def number 2 on mvp list under luffy. None of the end of wano could have happened without law.

It is not his back story it is how he formed his crew.

For a series that is supposedly the "best and most planned" series Oda really slipped on Kid, like it definitely seemed like he had plans for him, especially at that one arc showing Luffy, Law and Kid taking out the marines together, like why show those three as a trio just to make two out of the three be in the spotlight, it sucks seeing Kid not have anything planned because i find him so cool
Best is not the same as most planned. One piece is famously not extremely planned out. Oda did not plan to write beyond Skypeia. However I still consider it the best because oda is such a skilled writer.

Eustass Kidd is my favorite character from one piece and favorite supernova, so im happy to know more about him but it's very sad that Oda didn't explained it in the story itself anyway.

It's unfortunate because a good time to give Kid some more lore was in the tail end of Wano and expanding why he wants to fight authority figures. But that was also around the time Oda was like, "I'm not getting any younger.....I'm really slowing down. Man I gotta finish One Piece and spend time with my family"
Most likely we'll get a light novel for Kid much like we did for Law as a consolation. But as much as we want to see Kid's past, Oda knows we don't need it.
I don't think this is kid's entire backstory because we still don't know how he got his df, how his life was on the island (we only know how the island functioned), who raised him, the name of the island, or his connection to Shanks
This is more of a bs of how and why kid formed his crew

This is only the story how his crew where formed. Law also got his story how his crew where formed in a sbs way before his actual backstory. So dont worry about kid this only shows us that oda starts focussing on Kidd. And for the one who forgot it, oda had at first only plans for kid for the story at the beginning he didnt think that law would get so important so if law got so much i think we will become enough kid content
I’m new here and I love your content, I was an only anime watcher and quite literally just decided to get caught up on the manga about a week ago and part of that was just to binge your vids spoiler. In that time I’ve binged the last year or so of chapter reviews and then some. Thank you for the content you put out, I feel like I found a knowledgeable voice of reason in a sea of bad theories and wacky opinions.
Maybe the monocle on Guernica’s mask was a camera, so while he himself was splattered on the ground, the camera was still recording. Then Joseph or someone else saw what was recorded, thought it looked important, and printed it out as Luffy’s new bounty picture. That would make the photo still technically “from” Guernica, without him actually taking or sending the photo

Oda famously designed & created the Supernova for Sabaody, to give it more life, but I personally feel like that is not entirely the case. I believe he had some of these characters in mind beforehand and just took advantage of Sabaody to introduce them.

The Kid Pirates' backstory reminds me a lot of Yusei, Jack, Crow, and Kallin from Yu-Gi-Oh! 5D's. Like it's really similar in structure.

have a theory, vegapunk was the member of Rocks pirates. Think about this :
The Stussy was the member of MADS and she was a member of ROCKS pirates. That explaining how he get the Whitebeard, Stussy and Linlin DNA for clones. And that explaining how Queen become a crew member of
Kaido. And in Albert(king) flashback, we saw that Albert was in Dr.Vegapunk laborotory. He also a very old men, and he can be the same age as shanks, when he was in Roger crew. (Sorry for mistakes im from Russia)

Sounds like Kid's island is another microcosm of the One Piece world, with the 4 district gangs representing the 4 emperors, and the "ruling gang" being the world government/marines. I wonder who/what would be the Victoria that could unite the 4 emperors.
Kid needs one cool moment and I think I have the solution.
The Kid Pirates are at Elbaf home of the giants whom draw a lot of inspiration from Norse Mythology and we think Saul is the man he seeks, but what if Saul only cooperates with Kid once he's dealt with the menace known as the Sky Giant that inhabitants the Sky Island above Elbaf which can only be accessed by the beanstalk known as the world tree 👀
Kid would then gain the title "Giant Slayer" which is a fitting title for a barbaric pirate like Kid.
I could see him making enemies and alias I think he might alias with Loki. Loki might actually like kids brutal behaviour so kid will have a lot giants on his side then luffy will have the good giants on his side there could be two antagonist on elbaf being kid and loki I think kid will pick up a hammer with his fruit chuck it and it will accidentally fall on ussop and ussop will be know as Thor and will assist in the defeat of loki
