"I'm sorry, I couldn't hear" must be a very commonly-heard sentence among people who have worked with Doug Jones. I'm surprised that guy can hear ANYTHING under all those prosthetics.
Considering all the experience with having limited hearing I wouldn’t be surprised if Jones developed sharper hearing to make up for all the hours he spent in makeup without being able to hear clearly
The practical effects are so good! It's like it's not even the actors, but the actual characters that came to life and did a movie. It really feels like you're watching THE Hellboy and THE Abe Sapien messing up their lines. So cool!
Finally, Hellboy says: "Shit" instead of "Crap". XD When Hellboy is in the shower and Del Toro comes and says: "You want some shampoo?" That made me laugh so hard. Hahaaha!!
I think the reason guillis movies are so awesome is that he doesn't make the movies for his audience, he makes them for himself! And while the audience and there wishes can be crap, his ideas can't
When it comes to the troll with a tumor it actually looks like a real creature, also the part where Hellboy’s slapping him and he keeps moving his head after he stops is the most hilarious one
Seeing how much fun Del Toro has and the effort he puts into his stuff, I really feel bad for him for what Peter Jackson did to him in The Hobbit. How can someone like Jackson really think himself so much better than this master?
Wow, all the specially designed characters are actually real and not CGI? They deserve a medal for that. Something that all fiction movies should learn from.
Del Toro seems like the kind of director who would just fuck with you to no end, but still pay you for all the time he wasted on his own movie just having fun
You'll be surprised how much was actually built for the film. True, the robots and kaiju were CG, however, they built 3 or so blocks of Hong Kong and the actual cockpits they were strapped into that was touched up with CGI. Of course, in a film like that, it's hard not to have to use CGI. But whatever didn't have to be computer was not computer.
What makes this even funnier is that a lot of it was practical effects, so it actually looks like real monsters are making these mistakes.
It has the whimsey quality of Pixar bloopers, where they have the animated characters themselves messing their lines.
They aren’t animated
Those are REAL PEOPLE covered in a ton of makeup
Omg frrrrrrrr
That’s the magic of Del Toro
"I'm sorry, I couldn't hear" must be a very commonly-heard sentence among people who have worked with Doug Jones. I'm surprised that guy can hear ANYTHING under all those prosthetics.
glad he's getting a LOT more recognition for his great work.
They need to make little ear holes for such prosthetics so people can hear under such heavy make-up.
Considering all the experience with having limited hearing I wouldn’t be surprised if Jones developed sharper hearing to make up for all the hours he spent in makeup without being able to hear clearly
I knew they used a lot of REAL stuff in these movies, but this is insane o_O
Some of it is hair and makeup or cgi special effects
@@money_fight_339you are onto nothing😂
my god, those monsters werent CGI O_O awesome.
Yep, that’s how it was done in Hollywood, back before everybody decided to be cheap and not go with practical effects...
@@walkingcubkid And mainly because it's Guillermo Del Toro, he 's one of the few directors who still has a heavy emphasis on practical effects
It's amazing how much proper prosthetic you see here rather than green screen and CG. GDT really does things practically when he can!
Oh gosh those practical effects IT'S SO GOOD IT LOOKS SO GOOD
Mr Del Toro seems like a fun guy to work with.
smart guys usually are ! usually, lol.
They still somehow manage to be perfectly in character when they mess up and I love it

*Selma
Devin Ellis I heard "Zelda", but to each his own I guess
Edward Nigma
The actresses name is Selma Blair.
My bad, just checked the IMDb page. Selma it is.
Thinking he said Zelda is funnier imo XD
Doug Jones is the king of bringing monsters to life!
"I'm sorry what was that word that you started with?"
"GOD!"
"Now I can hear." lol XD
1:19 When he can't say the line or see the troll lady "WHERE ARE YA?" cracks me up every time
Oh Doug Jones, you are an absolute gem
I think the reason guillis movies are so awesome is that he doesn't make the movies for his audience, he makes them for himself!
And while the audience and there wishes can be crap, his ideas can't
I prefer this than a fully cgi movies
When it comes to the troll with a tumor it actually looks like a real creature, also the part where Hellboy’s slapping him and he keeps moving his head after he stops is the most hilarious one
I absolutely loooove these movies
0:58 "day I need your shampoo mr Brandon" 😂😂😂 my gawd
*perlman not brandon
These amazing practical make-up effects lost the Oscar for "Best Make-Up & Hairstyling" to "The Curious Case of Benjamin Button"?
2:31 best outtake in movie history
1:48 I laughed so hard I became the angel of death, and also the guy to the left shit himself xD
"If you hurt the p-pim, you hurt the princess"
,, Its all done.... Ha!” - Death Tanaris, 2007
I can't stop laughing I hope she is acting or that guy look wayyyy to scary for her 1:50
That made my day xD
When your favorite movie's bloopers prove the actors can laugh and you feel relief
Wow! They could do all of those things without CGI. Great job. What a pity that they did not made Hellboy 3 with the "old" actors.
Seeing how much fun Del Toro has and the effort he puts into his stuff, I really feel bad for him for what Peter Jackson did to him in The Hobbit. How can someone like Jackson really think himself so much better than this master?
at 1:34, I think Doug Jones had actually had some beer there
SkyGaming Of course they both did
It's incredible how little CGI was used in these movies. God, I love practical effects, there so much more impressive when you pull them off.
That costume design 😍 amazing
It´s amazing how many effects in this movie are practical! Very impressive.
''I need your shampoo, mr. Pearlman..'' I LoL'd so much!! XD
I am loving all the practical effects, the makeup and prosthetics...OMG love it...CGI....enough...time to let realism take over
Del Toro has a lot of fun with his work XD
OMG! THE OUTTAKE WITH DEATH SCREAMS! UNDERTAKER FROM KUROSHITSUJI! DONG NEEDS TO PLAY HIM!
They definitely should've made him sound like this in the movie. 😆
"It is done..." -insert funny noise here-
- The Angel of Fate.
1:33 Ganon would be proud. XD
The amount of cameras Ron Perlman knocks over😂🤣
the make up and costumes are unbelievable, the thing at 1:07 is just amazing
this is insane! all that was props and stuff? the tumor baby as well?? holy crap!!
2:25 always makes me laugh so hard! XD
Will be awesome interviewing Doug aka Abe!!
2:05 ron perlman hates cameras
Doug/Abe made the most mistakes that we're funny
He also can't catch anything
Thank you very much for sharing this awesome HBII bloopers. Should've even more bloopers to see, I love them^^
0:58 do you need your shampoo, mr. perlman?
XD del toro, you're a card
Wow, all the specially designed characters are actually real and not CGI? They deserve a medal for that. Something that all fiction movies should learn from.
I love watching this so bad, its so funny i keep on laugh.
I love Doug Jones LOL and I love how Seth McFarlane plays Johann!
Its like seeing the actual characters from the movie having a laugh together.
its because he's one hell of an actor ;)
The costumes are amazing..
you can ell they had a lot of fun making this.
Trip of the day: monster suit actors breaking character haha.
Even in unedited the outtakes the costumes look unbelievable.
And to be fair, the CG was amazingly well done. I think CG's a great art form when it's done as well as it was in PR.
I was eating when one of the funniest parts happened and almost died !!
"I would give my...DIE!" Hahaha! I dont know why I laughed so hard at that
i love it because even in the gag reels hellboy and the swimmer guy look like real people
Yes I know it is the truth about life. And Hellboy is something that is mostly heroic but still attached to everyday stuff. Gotta love that.
the angel of death is my favorite blooper
Del Toro seems like the kind of director who would just fuck with you to no end, but still pay you for all the time he wasted on his own movie just having fun
I love bloopers every movie should have them for the end credits
"I forgot the line AAAAAAH!"
0:55 "Oh i don't have my teeth in, I'm sorry!" xD
" it is done....AAAH!" XD Doug Jones is pure win!
The punching scene was the best
They really blew it when they didn’t bring back Del Toro and Perlman.
God, those costumes are sick af. they spared no expense making those movies
2:32 LMAO! Mr. Wink just falls big time!
I want HB 3, and I want it NOWWW!!!
My FAV 1:47 omg

I can't believe how good those creature effects are.
1:49 why is this so adorable
"If you hurt the pimp, you hurt the princess''? Wow, just wow.
Being inside Abe's costume must be hard.
"I would give my...DIE!" rofl
the costumes look amazing
0:23 you gotta do it, Zelda!

Doug Jones is so amazing.
Anyone agree that Hellboy looks hot😮?
Yes.
Yup
Yes! Physique plus Pearlman’s voice... yum yum yum!☺️👌🏼
"Come to daddey...." BAM hahaha
2:26
if you hurt the pimp you hurt the princess!
thats why he is one of the most respected directors in the movie business
You'll be surprised how much was actually built for the film. Del Toro is a practical effects god!
I loved these parts at the end of the movies.
Love bloopers! They're so hilarious!
Best halloween costumes ever!!!
