When asked, this is the one. I've seen it that many times, I've listened to all the commentaries and it might be the reason why I have such a strange accent because I used to watch it on a loop as a kid. I love it. This is the best in my opinion.
I love all Zombie films and had just gotten into them when Shaun came out, it felt like it was made for me - I didn't even like Hot Fuzz when it first came out (I was only 16, forgive me!) but it's the best made of the three... I actually think it's as close to perfect as I've ever seen in a film. You can watch it a hundred times and still enjoy it - and I have!

What a bunch of absolute legends.
@@dtz1000 pretty fuckin' goofy, yeah, not their best work by a long shot. It had its moments though. There are really big names in this, but specifically Edward Woodward and Timothy Dalton. I mean, Callan/McCall and Bond/Prince Barin. Really, really badass. Dalton toughened up 007 (and kicked Mel Gibson's ass in real life, justifiably). I just applaud Simon, Nick and Edgar for doing what we'd all love to do if we could: make a fun film starring all our heroes. Thank you for remaining fan boys. Plus, not only does the film feature big British names, but puts my home county of Gloucestershire on the map!!
Billie Whitelaw as well, perhaps not as famous, but a highly respected and brilliant actress. Mostly known for playing the nanny in The Omen. Absolutely amazing in films such as "Payroll" too.
I grew up loving Bond films, but now the only ones I ever want to watch again are his and George Lazenby's. Edit: He was the best Mr Rochester in Jane Eyre, too.

After watching the spaced behind the scenes, then SOTD, now HF, they're absolutely hilarious, the best of the best of British acting being brutally dry. Paddy Considine hanging Rafe Spall out to dry is just pure, British humour.
Genuinely I think it's the best British movie ever, star studded cast, amazing script, extremely rewatchable. It's miles ahead of the other 2 corneto films but I'd still love to see another
This is hilarious! Bill Nighy saying he took the job to pay off a drug habit… Simon and Nick talking to each other in their trailers on walkie talkies.. what fun!
I saw Hot Fuzz when it came out, and thought nostalgically of Wells, the only small English town I've ever had a weekend to explore on my own. Then I looked up, and the movie was shot in Wells! A meaningless coincidence, but watching the movie brings back those lovely memories, such as the Cathedral grounds and the antique musical instrument shop and antique scientific instrument shop (!) right by the Penniless Porch. I remember most places being closed and the town quiet. Perhaps some bank holiday, or maybe it was Sunday (this was the third week of March 2003). I think if I ever make it back to England, although there's so much more I want to see, I'll just have to head to Somerset again. One thing about Wells is that it's on a pressurized karst aquifer, beneath the Mendip Hills to the north, and there's an artesian fountain (seen in the film) near the city square which keeps the gutters downhill from there continually washed in sparkling clear water.

I enjoyed this movie much more than "Shaun of the Dead". A cool mystery. Excellent action. Satisfying character arcs. Laugh out loud humor. An amazing cast. It has it all.
Hot Fuzz honestly may be a perfect movie in my mind. It can be watched so many times, and in so many ways, getting what you want out of it. I know people who have only seen American cop movies/shows and they get that side, but I grew up watching British cop dramas and I was catching so much from that end. I try to watch it once a year.
