    When you are recording the police, get their statements BEFORE you shut them down. When the officer states the stop was because of a cell phone violation, the driver should ask, "Was there anything other than the cell phone violation?" Make them list any violation BEFORE and on the record. LE can always just say, "Well, I think you were speeding"
    It's much harder to argue that you were also pulled over for speeding when that has already been ruled out. Verbally box them into a corner.

The citizen would then not have had to defend himself but remain on the attack of the pile of garbage's dressed in police uniforms 2 lies. • @sdd6528
      @sdd6528 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@Drooligan Generally speaking, a state vehicle code does not apply to private property. This is not universal though and some "private property", like malls and other businesses, have agreements with local police to enforce the vehicle code upon their property (i.e. fire lanes, handicap parking, stop signs, speed limits, etc.) An HOA or community may also request the police enforce traffic laws on their private property. (See TX Transportation Code 542.006 through 542.008) If the government is maintaining a road on private property than traffic enforcement is usually included as part of the deal.
      Typically a person operating a motor vehicle on their own property for noncommercial purposes would not need to register their vehicle or have a driver's license if they stay on private property. If you have a long driveway and put a stop sign up on your driveway, you are not going to get a ticket for running the stop sign unless your community has an agreement to enforce traffic laws on your property. The general rules is that traffic laws are unenforceable on private property but there are exceptions to the rule.
