The questions isn't whether a person has something to hide on a cop encounter. The question is whether the cops have sufficient reason to disturb you. We have the right to be secure against arbitrary searches and seizures.

Remember too David , talking to cops and answering questions is two different ball games, silence leads to contempt of cop in 10 seconds and doesn't go well from there.
Police woulda busted out them windows and claimed they didn’t know they couldn’t do that ,exercising sovereign immunity or I mean qualified citizens 😂 or something like that (qualified immunity). Ignorance of the law is no excuse, unless you’re police.

You seem to be under the mistaken impression that that there is such a thing as a separate category of money called 'tax money'. I recall a few months back, seeing a video of a McDonald's in Florida. Two cops came in and were harassing a homeless person. A guy sitting nearby finishing his breakfast started filming the interaction. Both cops eventually came over to the man and demanded he either ID himself or move to another area of the restaurant. What did the man do in response? NOT A THING. He never uttered a word, just kept filming. And the cops -- knowing their order to ID or move was completely unlawful -- then left him alone. That's how you remain silent. By actually remaining silent.
Then they said as they were leaving "run every plate in the parking lot and get the names", joke was on them though, that guy had walked there.

Here's my issues. In my early years I got into trouble with the law quite a bit. I have a lengthy criminal record. I've been to prison quite a few times. I've been out of prison for 17 years living a clean arrest free life. I would love to do what you do but my temper gets the better of me so it's probably best that I remain a spectator.
