Brian Shaw is a great example of how strength isn't just about having good genetics for strength, but being smart and strategic about training and nutrition, and a willingness to put in the work. Something everyone can learn from, not just the people trying to be as strong as humanly possible.

Seeing you brought up time constraints I'm curious, have you ever considered making some of these meals together in bulk? Brian you have helped me turn my life around i was in a very tough time in my life ive hit my max deadlift bench max as well as squat still trying to stay shredded. Thanks again brian stay strong.
That faucet above the stove is so cool. I like seeing what rich people have in their houses because even if I can't afford the whole house, out of whatever 5 or 10 cool things they have, oftentimes it may only be 1 thing that stands out to me that I wish I had and that 1 thing isn't so impossibly expensive to put in my own house.
I understand how expensive this lifestyle can get! My two boys are 21 and 17. I’m 53 and we all love chicken, beef, bison, and pork. As well as the occasional salmon too! I used to eat like this in the Marine Corps as a scout swimmer instructor and it still wasn’t enough. Of course, the quality wasn’t near as good as your food Brian!
YEEEEEES BRIAN IS GETTING BACK TO PEAK STRENGTH TRAINING!!!!! You should have never given up on peak strength training Brian, and I'm so glad you are getting back to it. Cant wait to see your strongest form and to see you kick some ass 😁
A tip for next time you make that spaghetti dish: 1. Season the meat more. Salt, pepper, other spices (experiment some maybe) and GARLIC. 2. Instead of pouring the sauce on top at the end and mixing it with the meat above your noodles I recommend warming the sauce in the pan with your meat during the final few minutes of cooking time so that they can heat together. 3. If you end up finishing the jar of sauce (not sure if that happened or not) then to get ALL of the sauce I recommend pouring just a little bit of the pasta water that the noodles cooked in into the jar and then shake it vigorously and pour the "pink water" into the sauce. 4. If your diet allows for this (might not as cheese is fatty) I recommend a sprinkle of Parmesan or Romano on top.
It worked out after all, congratulations Brian you are truly Great! Happy for your Viktory, you've been a great inspiration for me since my teens. Big love from Hungary, also say hy for Eddie if you meet him again ❤️
What impresses me the most about giants like Shaw is not the amount of food or training they can get in, but the fact that they, day after day, night after night, can manage the herculian task of weighing that much and just existing in normal life altogether. I weighed a muscular 250 lbs at one point, and I mostly dreaded anything that involved moving around. Being that big is a complete hassle.

I weigh like 150lbs soaking wet, I work hard everyday and never gain weight. I eat 3000+ calories a day, and it’s not enough. This video has made it clear that I need to just suck it up and make it my mission to hit 3500 a day. Eat like it’s my job. You are an inspiration to us all Brian. Even those of us who don’t aspire to compete in strongman or become a bodybuilder. Keep it up and finish strong brother!!
Sad part is that I used to have to eat like this when I worked at FedEx 8 hours a day. I did the math a little while ago and I was consuming close to 14,000 calories a day and was losing weight. You would be surprised just how many calories you can burn doing physical labor.
I’m a bodybuilder and during my last bulk I was eating 3200 calories per day. That felt like SO much food! There were nights I’d be eating at 11pm trying to finish everything!
One day I just want to shake your hand and tell you what an amazing person you are. You are someone to look up to in every regard. Much love from switzerland.
I recommend in the future putting the rice in the bowl FIRST and putting the other food on top of it. Rice is sorbent like a sponge yet lacks flavor itself. If you put it on the bottom gravity will pull all of the liquids and oils from the food down into it and it will soak into the rice. This is why most restaurants that have "rice bowls" on the menu put the rice in first.
Yo B you make all that look so easy but it’s true to be big and strong you got to get the meals in on a side note you are definitely my favorite strong man in the world. Anyway I was thinking of something while I was watching your video and it made me laugh a lot I want your videos you went, and you met the bodybuilder guy I forget his name and you were getting ready to train with him and you’re used to lifting weights. You got to always chalk up but the bodybuilders don’t do that and you were telling him it’s not my brand chlk but it’s good he was like no I don’t need any chalk and then you’re like yeah it’s not my chlk but it’s good chalk. .I died laughing 😂 the bodybuilder dude was like OK I guess I’ll take a little bit and he put like one single piece of residue in the middle of his hand 🎉
I'd say having health issues prior to the comp and being past his prime were the main factors. If you look at last year, he also slimmed down and performed incredibly
Being one of the world strongest men in the world. I greatly respect him for actually knowing how to cook what he eats. Instead of just expecting someone else to do it for him.
Yes Brian is insanely genetically gifted to begin with, but he works relentlessly to achieve what he has achieved…BUT, to me, the most impressive thing about this dude is he seems to be very down to earth, humble, kind and respectful to all. Compare that to the epidemic of Connor McGregor types in the world today and it makes me appreciate the example he sets for kids around the world, that much more.

You make me feel so good about my eating habits. Too many fitness guys out here counting calories and macros. I love eating and love lifting heavy. New Subscriber 💪🏽
I have been a professional chef for 25+ years. Man! It would be so much fun cooking for someone like you.
Dude eats non stop plain food.
Anyone who enjoys cooking would have fun with him, skilled or not.
I would cook him some real beef steaks, not the dodgy stuff from trifector
@@stevegee6529he wouldn't it it cause it would take too long

I had a bariatric sleeve and Brian has helped with my strength training. I love how I eat right now around 1700 calories a day in order to drop my weight. He literally when training eats in a meal what i do in a day. 😂
Brian Shaw is a great example of how strength isn't just about having good genetics for strength, but being smart and strategic about training and nutrition, and a willingness to put in the work. Something everyone can learn from, not just the people trying to be as strong as humanly possible.
I love it when you say you don´t have your phone around you when you are eating. Everyone should do this. Concentrate on what you are doing.
I always watch these when I’m struggling to finish my meal, Brian always makes me finish

@@neporupp3739 😏
He always makes you finish 😮
😂
Don’t worry dude, he makes me finish too
Watching Brian conquer blob weights with his vice like paws in one video. Then move onto delicately cracking an egg into his pancake mix like DaVinci putting a brush stroke on one of his masterpieces.
Makes you realize just how talented of a beast he is.
ShawStrength Rock on 🤘😎
Never forget that the WSM Brian Shaw just blessed us with a new food video and simultaneously finnesed us with a smooth jazz sountrack...absolute legend
Seeing you brought up time constraints I'm curious, have you ever considered making some of these meals together in bulk? General consensus seems to be the food is good for 3-5 days depending on the dishes for uncompromised nutrition
Only major snag is repeated meals when you might want variety to stay motivated on eating
Grind never stops, love the dedication Brian.
Brian shaw you are the greatest man of all time to be honest, take care of yourself and keep amazing the world ! :)
I remember watching his first one years ago, i think he was still engaged so he’s come along way. Definitely one of my favorite people
I understand how expensive this lifestyle can get!

Brian is a heavenly hunk haha
The amount of calories is insane! Truly a man who is dedicated.
Finally another full day of eating video. I love these
YEEEEEES BRIAN IS GETTING BACK TO PEAK STRENGTH TRAINING!!!!! You should have never given up on peak strength training Brian, and I'm so glad you are getting back to it. Cant wait to see your strongest form and to see you kick some ass 😁
A tip for next time you make that spaghetti dish:
You never even weighed 150 😂
They probably do a hell of a lot more recovery than you could get in though. But I know what you mean
@@daltonmchargue6861 He's likely always had way better conditioning relative to his size than I ever had, but I don't think its the massages or hot & cold carrying that.. that's just brutal training with a brutal bodyweight on top of it lol
Flexibility dude, I was 350 pounds, and now I am 280. plus you need to know your body and care about your intake of fat and sugar. so you'll have no problem with breathing too!

Thanks Bryan, funny enough as you uploaded this. My mum baked me a blueberry cheesecake. She always does this for me when I’m depleted from training and really need additional calories on top of the diet. Always reminds me of you 😊🍰

Yes much approval from Vincezo's Plate! 😂😂😂😂
Just want to say congratulations 👏🏼 BRAIN SHAW for everything you've done in life brother 🏋🏻♂️💪🏻 I have the most respect for you!! I wish you guys did another History channel show but that would probably never happen again 😢
Brain?
I have a Question Mr Shaw. When all is said and done, how you will you treat your training afterwards? For someone like you its probably ingrained in your daily routine but will you continue to go as HARD as you do now, or even a regimen close to it?
most likely going to go on the same route as The Mountain and get leaner. hes getting older and wont be able to maintain his body as much, so its better to get lean
This. I imagine he’ll lean out, while trying to keep his protein intake as high as he can. Dude has earned a great retirement.
I am looking forward to see his transformation.
If he comes even close to the change of thor it's gonna be interesting
@@quelandil5738yeah. Eddie hall had a great slim down during retirement and he started getting involved in loads of celebrity work. Hopefully Brian does the same

8:15 Yo that wall attachment next to the stove is absolutely incredible. Also 24:50 might be my favorite running gag. Hard to top the hot yoga one lol.
I know Brian just stares at the wall when he eats so he doesn't waste his meal time, but with all that food? His focus and concentration are out of this world💪🏽
Man and I thought my groceries were getting expensive, I can't imagine what a weeks worth of Brian's meals cost lol
He gets most of his food for free from Trifecta. They shipped him $60K worth of food last year!

3:27 Why do you get two?
*Stares at his 200kg father*
I follow more bodybuilding content but I always check in with Bryan’s channel cause I think he is just the most authentic person. I can see his dedication to his diet in the same way bodybuilders do and except we go through hard times of starving. I would LOVE to see Bryan cut down and just get nasty peeled when he retires
3:19 "m'kay, you get 1, and daddy gets 1, 2, 3, 4, 5..." That had me cracking up hard 🤣
I aspire to be able to financially do this one day
I weigh like 150lbs soaking wet, I work hard everyday and never gain weight.
You would be surprised just how many calories you can burn doing physical labor.
with a few hundred dollars of mcdonalds, your weight can go zzooOOOOOOOOMMM
Aim for 5000 to start
Add a 2llitre shake made out of heavy cream and peanut butter as a base and add everything you can.... Will add another 1000 calories easily
@@dillionedmonds573614k cals and you were losing? Damn how much did you weigh back then? And how tall?
I’m a bodybuilder and during my last bulk I was eating 3200 calories per day. That felt like SO much food! There were nights I’d be eating at 11pm trying to finish everything!
Being 6’7”, 3200 calories would be a big cut for me, but still could not imagine eating as much as Brian!
When I was training for a marathon I was eating around 5k (at 185lbs~). Basically just means I was eating all day long
You don't move enough.Or you are like 160cm tall..3200 is small cut for me..

@@sagebauer1077 it feels like a job sometimes!
You’re so down to earth and humbling and just real and not fake and a lot of the other ones are the opposite.
Brian is a monster, I wonder if trying to be leaner hurt him at the WSM. He's just built different.
I'd say having health issues prior to the comp and being past his prime were the main factors.
If you look at last year, he also slimmed down and performed incredibly
@@quelandil5738 He has stated he was well past his cellulitis, if I'm not mistaken. I think father time was a much bigger factor.
@@ETAisNOW why
Being one of the world strongest men in the world. I greatly respect him for actually knowing how to cook what he eats. Instead of just expecting someone else to do it for him.
That water tap right on top of the stove is such a brilliant idea
Can't believe I never thought of it
His toilet has PTSD.
He doesn't have a toilet.
He has a pit
A wise man once said....."Gotta eat big to get big, right babe?".............

Brian Shaw is one of very few people in the world who can break pasta and not get outrage in response.
Maybe it's because he eats more than a tiger, maybe it's cause he's the world's strongest man, who can say.
Maybe it's because the vast majority actually do it and memes aren't reality
You and Eddie are my favorite youtubers you guys rock
10:00 it’s always interested me how Brian just eats the tomato sauce raw. Usually people like my parents always cook it in the pot first.
You mean cold, but I use it as a sauce too lol
I'd love Brian to wear a continous glucose monitor, of course he has a lot of muscle mass and works out often, but it would be interesting to see how his meals affect his blood glucose.
Why didn’t you add the sauce to the beef? Cold sauce on pasta 🥲
