Yeah, it's pronounced "indiosincrásia" but without tilde because its accent is "grave" and it has a vocal at the end so no tilde is needed.

I don't know about Latin America, but it's an extremely common error here in Spain, to the point that I've even heard doctors say "transtorno". It's easier to pronounce trans- than tras- because we're more used to trans-

Its not the same. This is the Spanish word for it. The suffix in English is "phobia" while the suffix in it for Spanish is "fobia." Also there are two p's in the English word for the fear. Plus y'all did pronounce it in a Spanish right? Lol but Wizards of Waverly Place is fire either way

Parangaricutirimícuaro es una palabra aparentemente inventada para un trabalenguas, probablemente derivada del nombre del pueblo San Juan Parangaricutiro y la terminación -cuaro, en el idioma tarasco, que varios lugares de la región tienen en su nombre... No creo que la Real Academia de la Lengua Española reconozca esa palabra... :)
También vivo en España y tienes razón, creo que es por el hecho que la penúltima es un trabalenguas mexicano, y la última realmente sólo la conozco de haber estudiado griego en Bachillerato xD

well spanish comes from latin which is indoeuropean just like greek and that's why they share some words
Every word has it's own origin... Chocolate is both the same word in english and in spanish (just with different pronunciation). Spanish comes from Spain. Spain had some greek colonies like Ampurias and Rode. They are just practicing how these words are said in Spanish. Hope my explanation helps :D
There are more words that are the same in Spanish as in Greek and that's amazing, not only those two, but yet, even if the words are from ancient greek that's how they're said in Spanish so yes

Looking at the word, you should be able to sound out any of the words. However if they're just said to you, I understand why it'd be hard to pronounce them. Especially if they're saying them at a normal speed. I remember when my aunt was teaching me Parangaricutirimicuaro, she had to literally break it down to every syllable.

Parangaragutirimícuaro is not a Spanish word. That is from an indigenous language of Mexico. That one should not have been included.

Ok, let's set some things clear:
I'm from Colombia, my native language is spanish and I apologize in advance if I make any mistake trying to get some things straight.
1. Spanish is a very complex languague since it doesn't have one root but several, and it evolved differently depending on the region it is spoken, for example: I live in Colombian's coast (Cartagena) and our accent is very similar to Venezuela's coast even though they are 2 different countries (blame this to revolutionary wars, independece, spanish colonies etc,). There are many different words to name one thing depending on the country (sometimes, even on the city) "Paranguatirimícuaro" (I'm not sure I got it right) is not a common word in my country, I think it is a very mexican word, but with a little practice I know I can manage to pronounce it properly, again, it's spanish, but not a common word.
2. The last word is actually a medical condition - a phobia - and as soooo
many medicals, politicals, and phylosophical terms it is Latin, one of our roots, but who speaks latin nowaday? Again, with practice anyone can say it right.
3. For all my latin brothers and sister yelling out there, "Latino" is for male and "Latina" is for female. Soy orgullosamente una mujer latina. But if you want to use it in an impersonal way, then use the word "latinamerican".
4. There has always been a lot going on in Central and Southamrica, just give the people who, for some reazon decided to go for a better life a break. Stop the hate, guys! North American, South American, European, Asiatic, African, we are all the samething. Geographical lines are a human invention and it's obsolete.
