From street food to fancy restaurant.
On this vlog, we invited our friends Hani and Saqib to dinner as a thank you for inviting us to their home the other day. But before we went to the restaurant, Hani made a request to stop at a roadside stall as he wanted us to try a famous Pakistani dish. He said Ivana tried it before but did not do it properly. So he wanted to show and teach us the proper way to eat gol gappay.
We tried gol gappay, chaat, and dahi bhallay at a roadside stall at Regal Chowk, opposite Hall Road.
At first we were skeptical but the taste and flavor really surprised us!
After our huge "snack" (it was a full meal lol), we then went to Haveli restaurant at Gawalmandi food street across from Badshashi Mosque and Lahore Fort. The food was ok but the view was what we were there for.

The world tried to hide Pakistan behind the curtains of terrorism which is on the contrary a heaven in earth. I feel really happy. People from across the world finally discovering real Pakistan. 🇵🇰 The more you travel the more you discover the surprises of Pakistan. But most importantly you will find people at the peak of their hospitality and generosity.
I had a friend who worked with the Malaysian Airlines. He flew to Pakistan almost every weekend. Now I know why.

@Hiccup Studios atleast they can go to gawadar if not the other areas of BALOCHISTAN, but they are very slow moving travelers so may be it's difficult for them

Lahore is one of the most amazing city in te world with blend of old city having historical buildings and then we got ultra modern areas where one can find gigantic malls and shopping destinations as well...

Well Badshahi mosque means Kings mosque. This mosque have the same design as the Jamia mosque New Delhi. But Badshahi mosque is much larger than Jamia mosque Delhi.

12:34 corn, chickpeas, peanuts etc are roasted in black salt. Everybody even in pakistan think that it’s sand but it’s black salt. So pakistani people be careful while explaining food.

Ahh, so glad you tried gol gappay again after the high tea! And you did it perfectly this time! They are so moreish. It’s 10pm right now but I’m really craving some gol gappay after seeing this haha.
Dahi Ballay are made from soaked and crushed lentils, with some spices added. They’re fried, soaked in water for a bit to soften and then put in yoghurt along with more spices, sauces and salad. Yum!
