It's because they rarely see tourists, if they see one after so many days or months they will make sure to treat him right & make them feel comfortable. Pakistan has pretty bad image in the world due to terrorism ( don't forget Osama Bin Laden was found hiding there) and even their people know it and despite that if they see a tourist they will feel special about them coz they understand despite all the hate about them in the world, they as a people are great and it's their moment to prove it right

I am a Pakistani American, the majority of the Pakistani people are very kind. I remember back in the days when I was a teenager early eighties in Lahore Pakistan. I was with my friend drinking soda at a roadside store, an American couple and a kid on their car stopped by and asked about the Hotels in Lahore to stay. Knowing that just telling them the directions will not be helpful. We had a scooter and told the couple to follow us. We spent a few hours to lead them to different Hotels and continued to lead them until they found the one, they liked. We treated them with tea and some biscuits. The couple was impressed and praised for our time, efforts and the hospitality, but it was a normal thing for us. I am glad to see that it has not changed yet.

I am a Cuban, who became a spanish citizen throught my father, then moved to the US, and became a citizen there, through most of my life I had harboured misconceptions and negative feelings towards the middle east.. two years ago I moved to Dubai with my wife, and have traveled all over this side of the world, I dont want to go back to the states, ever... I just go to visit family. We, humans, as a collective need to stop reading fake news and bs, and waging stupid wars that only benefit corrupt people, we need to travel and get to know each other, we are all the same, theres good and bad everywhere, but the good in this side of the world in quality of personality and hospitality far outweighs the bad. May you all have a nice day

Da Problem with the USA & Izrael is that they Bomb every other Muslim Countries for Oil & Resources & then they Give Excuses Of Terrorism in these Countries. They start Playing Victim Card when World asks them Why u r Bombing these Countries?
They Give Reasons such as "War on Terror"
Russia & USA Destroyed Afghanistan just because the land of Afghans is rich in Resources. First Soviet Union tried to Invade this Country & Failed then after Defeating Russia with the Help of Pakistani Army & Secret Intelligence Agency, America tried to Invade this Country & after a long decade of War, America got Defeated by Talibans & Pakistan's Secret Agency.
In Every War, You will see One thing is very Common that Countries like the USA, Israel, India & Russia
They Start War First with Muslim Countries & In spite of having Nukes, You'll never see any Muslim Countries Starting War First.

This makes me really want to visit Pakistan. I have some very good friends in the UK and got invited to their wedding in Lahore but I couldn't afford it back then and I always regret not going.
Also, just a bit of clarification regarding the guy who was deported from the UK for "no reason". He'd been to prison for 3 years, so whatever he did it was probably pretty serious. When his jail term was up he would have been sent home, no second chances, its not for nothing and not because of a lack of freedoms. And no, in the UK you can't "buy the police" haha. He sounds like he lived in Manchester as well, using "init" all the time :D
However, the UK is currently treating immigrants and migrants very poorly and is very sad to see. They are trying to deport them to Africa of all places... I don't live in the UK anymore thank fully and I'm much happier.

It was unsafe back in the day and now because of political situation. If you are old enough you may know Imran khan the cricket, ousted by non democratic forces on behest of Biden. There is ill feeling towards American GOVERNMENT. But we people to people connection is alive. If you want to enough your time in Pakistan, stick to big cities or the northern mountains. Best option is to buddy up with any Pakistani expats visiting Pakistan.
