Sufism is totally different than Islam's teachings. Sufis do believe in one God and last prophet but they have added many innovations in Islam.
Our prophet peace be upon him never meditate like that neither music was a part of Islam.

From air the monument looks like a star (center) and a crescent moon (formed by walls forming the petals), these represent the star and crescent on Pakistan's flag. Five-pointed Star represent 5 pillars of Islam (Profession of Faith (shahada), Prayer (salat), Alms (zakat), Fasting (sawm), Pilgrimage (hajj)). And the White crescent moon represent THE Progress.

Sufism is the essence of Islam.
Basically purification of ones inner-self, exercising piety, compassion, kindness and love. Being inclusive and welcoming.

Another great vlog ; filled with interesting observations and giving us details about the places you both visited. Steve: About the video of the men lifting those heavy stones, that's called, "Gutti/Watee" , a traditional weight-lifting competition (as Ivana pointed out) that takes place usually, in rural areas of Punjab - Taxila, is a city famous for this competition. Gutti is a sport that isn't widely known or "played" nowadays. And, speaking of Taxila, just a heads up that it is an important part of the Gandharan civilization - this city might be of interest/worth a visit. Ivana: The music you asked about, from the sounds of it, it could very well be a Punjabi folk song.

Loving your videos guys - please make them longer like yesterday’s one 😂 I love the genuine interest that you show in the things and places that you see, not just in Pakistan but everywhere you’ve been. It’s heartwarming to see that you’re so accepting of different cultures and the knowledge that travel brings.
One tip, to see the Faisal Mosque from the inside, you will have to go there around prayer time so try and find out what times the congregational prayers are (there are 5 in a day so pick one that suits you lol!) And maybe ask management if you can take a short video of the inside - it’s so sweet that you follow all the instructions/signs, but there’s no harm in asking, I’m sure they’ll be accommodating :)
