I gotta admit that I look forward to Sundays thanks to you, Taryl. You did a FANTASTIC job on that Cushman. And like youve said, "Its the details!" I couldnt agree more!
Mr Dactyl your videos have brought me a great deal of joy. You and your family are very talented and I appreciate you sharing those talents with your fans. Your instructional abilities are the best on you tube. And you have without a doubt one of the most naturally comical personalities i have ever had the pleasure of observing. Thank you to you and your great family!!!
I have a K181S on my Wheel Horse Commando tractor with a 36-inch rear discharge deck. My fuel pump went out on it several years ago. I converted it to gravity flow then because I could not find a replacement pump or pump rebuild kit. The gravity flow has been working since then. I love that engine. The only problem I ever had with it is I had to helicoil the head because the spark plug threads were stripped.
Across the pond, they call that bracket a ‘head steady’. But I’m sure you already know that. Love the Cushman. I have a couple of running Tote Gotes in the garage. Which is why I originally came to your channel. Had to rebuild one and needed to convert the three pole coil to a electronic ignition. Looking at adding in the anti-vibration mounts. Can only ride for fifteen minutes before numbness hits.
Taryl, I just bought an axle from a Cushman vehicle. Only half of it was there, but I suspect that it was an electric model. I plan to build a garden tractor, and include the axle. It had brakes on the front. I'll probably use different hubs on the spindles, so I'll eventually sell the front hubs/backing plate.
Wow, the Trailster 2.0 is looking and running great. It is really quiet and you did a fantastic job of matching up the paint. Taryl, I have to say this, the alligator seat and gun case that you made for this is the coolest custom seat I've ever seen. I did like that alligator paw on the front as well. Fantastic job.
Taryl, you do such a good job... I very much enjoy and look forward to your content every week. You seen genuine and have great energy. Please don't change 😊
A really nice job Taryl. The first time I ever had Hamms Beer was in Long Binh Republic of South Viet Nam. Once a week we'd get a beer ration in an old feed tank with ice in it. Heaven!!!
That is so funny to catch you drinking a Coors beer. Instead of a Hamm's beer. Definitely a sweet scooter. I've been trying to find something that I can take my time and restore it.
Whoooooooooho!! Great to see the master at work. Fantastic job Taryl, you are the Cushman craftsman Greetings from Katoomba Australia mate, bloody ripper of a minibike
Wow! My dad drove over of those Minute Miser scooters when he worked at Johnson Outboards. My best friend's dad has one of those Trailsters, with the original engine, kick start and all. It has a Triumph motorcycle tank on it. He still rides it.
Taryl....you can use the correctly sized metal domed speaker grille instead of grinding down the crankshaft threads. Look for a high excursion speaker grill. Parts Express is a good source to start looking. Whoo-Weee! Get that bad boy on the road! That cushman looks Real good btw . Nice work...🙂

Jerry Lipkie , Geeze... I'm 80 and once, many years ago, owned a Cushman scooter. I'd ride it now IF I could. ROFL
The Cushman Trailster is looking better than ever.

At last, we got to see Mr. Cameraman. Well, most of him, anyway.
I actually said out loud “Hi Mr. Cameraman!”. My wife looked at me funny lol
This bike is even equipped with a rear snow tire. She’ll probably go good in snow too! I love little bikes like this!

Great follow up video on this Cushman!
Had to sub. I just bought a pretty good size collection of Cushmans. I have been watching your build on the Trailster. So much to learn!😊
Beautiful job. I love those 8 hp cast iron Krollers! The Trailster looks far better without that rattle trap 10 hp junk.
Great job TD
I'd leave the Tail Light as is and shorten and put a chrome angled tip on the tail pipe. Many ways to do things. Very nice machine. Helmet?
Whoooooooooho!! Great to see the master at work. Fantastic job Taryl, you are the Cushman craftsman
