honestly thought this was gonna be one of those poorly written throw away shows like paradise pd,but boy was i wrong.
The holodeck comment was hysterical.
In TOS, he was the captain. In TNG, he was the understudy. Here, he is parody. Ladies and gentlebeings, I give you the "Cowboy".
Mariner yawning had to be one of the weirdly most relatable things I have seen in an episode of any Star Trek.
These guys are great at how they get the job done by weird techniques.

That yawning is funny to me. I've gotten chewed out for that. Honestly, I just view yawning as casting my vote on whether you are a good presenter or not.
