I am old person (80) on 5th Lexus ES350, current one is a 2019 350 F Sport. 2019 is 1st year 350 has F sport. list at 52k. It is a blast : heads up, Mark l system, 30 mpg at steady 70 mph. No problems, rock solid...swift on usb flash drive and Mark L is money well spent!
I'm an old woman 54yrs old.😊 Just bought a '19 350 fsport. Coming from a 06 acura RL, I'm a little disappointed. Don't like the interior door handles, climate stuff not user friendly. 1 cd radio. Back seat pockets blah. It's pretty fast though, likes to jump forward. I don't the way the trunk fly wide open, side mirrors a little to wide, got scratch already, even though I fold in. Black plastic front grill, I'm hoping nobody backs into it too hard. Overall, I do like it, it's sexy, Atomic silver with red seats.
We bought a certified 2020 ES350 back in February and so love the car. Averaging 33-35mpg on the hwy running 80-90mph and love the regular gas. Paid 33k for it and got full maintenance and warranty for 100k miles. Just wish it had the ML sound system and touch screen that comes in the 2023 and newer. Car is quick and comfortable and a great road car. Wouldn’t mind having the luxury or ultra luxury version though.
@@saeedkamrani4217 Maybe that's it. I'm not sure. All I know is the sound system in my 2023 GX460 said ML on the sticker and it's way better than the one in the ES350.
I have an 04 lexus es330 and love it. Im only 18, but I love the luxury of the old ones. The new ones are fine, but they dont build them like they used to.
I just got a 2023 F-Sport as well. It is such a well-made vehicle. There is not a single creak on the interior. This competes with the E Class, 5 Series, and Audi A6 It is such a comfortable car. It may not be a true sports car, but the peace of mind of having a reliable vehicle is always better. I'm averaging about 25MPG over 1800 miles right now. The Fuel capacity is about 12 gallons, and the range is 320 Miles. If they made it 18 gallons, it could been exceptional, but they have to have an incentive for the hybrid.
This car does not compete with the E, 5 or A6 in any area except size. Those cars run this car off the road and drive better if you actually care about driving.

Engineering background here I recommend the ES 350 F sport performance and handling for $50,000. Your numbers are a bit inaccurate. You do not get 302 HP 22-31 MPG, you actually get 309 HP and 22-32 MPG 27 combined so even a little bit better. The F sport Performance and Handling won't turn your EX 350 into a Maserati or a Porsche but it will give it that sprot feel and make it more fun to drive, vs the base ES.
Those early years of the LS 460 had extremely expensive problems with front suspension components. Make sure those have been fixed before you buy. Videos by the Car Care Nut are a good resource for this.
Say what you want to about Lexus but there is a reason why the ES range sold more than the 5 series and E class combined. As much as we love German performance engineers and driving dynamics we hate spending a tonne of money maintaining them.
If you are pinching pennies, then yes, get the Japanese luxury but I’ve owned multiple German cars for the past 15 years and never had these so-called reliability issues I hear so much about. I have driven both Japanese luxury and German and the German cars blow Lexus Infiniti, and Acura out of the water.
The only drawback in these new ES is the dashboard material. Once it is scuffed, good luck removing that. I was cleaning my dashboard with microfibre towel and it left a little line. Tried everything on it still can't remove it and it'll stay on the dash forever
