Some people hating on this because it isn’t the newest or most blingy vehicle out there. To each their own. People who buy these value simplicity and reliability first and foremost. May be crazy but I see these v8s one day being as valuable as the mid-90s LR Defenders are now. I recently did the Range Rover experience in Vermont and my GX does 90 percent of what the RR did at almost 1/3 the price. As an aside the RR experience is well worth it-amazing duality of the RR.
I found very funny that people don’t hate 4 runner, fj cruiser and other body on frame trucks with old school and super reliable engine . But when it comes to GX, they got a lot to say. At the end, they need to realize that this is a body on frame truck. You can’t simply compare GX to fancy on road SUV’s and other performance cars.
Agree. Is it the best performing vehicle? No. Does it keep going whilst its competitors have been put out to pasture? Yes. Sometimes simple is better. Overbuilt, under-stressed motor and transmission and physical controls keep it simple and reliable.@@jerryli3390
So true, I had a 22 4Runner and the gauge cluster & infotainment system, and overall ride quality felt so old compared to the 23 GX I have now. The GX’s V8 and 6-speed transmission is so smooth compared to the 4Runner’s V6 and 5-speed
That’s a great v8. Went by the local dealership yesterday and they had a waiting list of 50 people for be new GX. We still enjoy our 2022 GX. Going to be my little girls car one day.
Depends on where you live. There is plenty of 2023 GX 460 in my state unless you want a Luxury trim. The base black model is plenty and a few Premium plus. I am looking at one but most are in a darker exterior color to my liking.
My dealership in Tampa has over 60 of these 2023 GX models, get your dealer to send a few of these to your dealership, it’s done all the time. Lexus of Tampa, Fl!
Are there any other added features with the same trim levels without the off road features (which I don’t need) between the 2022 GX460 and 2023? I know from the 2022 they have added wired Apple/Android car play. Thanks for the video.
I have a 2006 gx470 and im trying to get something that doesnt spend as much fuel. Sucks cause i love these cars but fuck paying almost $80 to fill the tank.
I love mine. Plan to keep for a long time. I have the sport design in black just like the one you pointed out. I get better mpg than the epa figures but I drive it pretty chill.
Can anyone share how the space is in the driver area from a width and length perspective. I am 6’1 and big guy so just trying to gauge if this suv would work from a comfort perspective for a big dude. Any thoughts or info is appreciated!
these videos are just glorified ads. In another 4Runner kdss video, he claimed the kdss suspension didn’t feel very different. Here he gushes the kdss difference
Toyota is done for as far as this new line up. Very sad to see. I just hope they keep making the Tacoma 3.5 and 4.0 short blocks. That's the route I'll be going. Anyone who knows cars know these boosted and direct injection engines are internally torn up by 90k, then add pricey slave batteries, no way. Slaves make dig those batteries up daily.
Lol No.. The only issues with the transmission in these comes from people never changing the fluid and listening to the manufacturer's "lifetime fluid" nonsense. If you tow with it, it needs an external trans cooler. Other than that, change fluid at 60k miles, and you'll have no issues.
The last of the ultra reliable Toyota/Lexus models. Old tech but will last for years..

It would look good with dual exhaust. I always think cars with single exhaust look off balance.
Bought the 23 model just to get the v8.
Me too and zero regrets!
Me three, 2 weeks ago 😂
I’m on my third Lexus GX460. I keep upgrading. Love every model. Plan on keeping this model Luxury for a long time. 😊
Awesome vehicle we love our 2023 GX! We may also get one of the last V8 Titans next year
I got my 2022 GX460 2 years ago, it's great V8 machine, luxury and elegant. I will keep it.

Legend💯✅

@@EatshhhushiJust bought one today. Black w/red interior.

Good choice
I have a 2021 Lexus LX 570 and what do you think of that as opposed to the 2023 Lexus GX 460??
The LX takes everything the GX has and gives one more of it. More power, more space, smoother ride, etc.

CA dealerships are throwing 5-6k discounts on GX, no reference needed.
Do you have sources? I’m in the Bay Area CA and interested in a gx460 luxury trim
Not in my area they aren’t! (Chino hills, ca) can’t get them to come down at all.
NJ has over 4k discount off Premium Plus 23'
I got $8k of the luxury trim at Lexus in Riverside
*... tell em' Ben!*

The last brand new ‘Toyota’ V8 truck product . That’s an even bigger statement.

Check out savagegeese review of the 2020 model
I'm 6'3", I fit w room 2nd row. 3rd row is for the kids
My son is 6' 3 and has no problem. He enjoys the vehicle.☺️
great video but we still have that v8 in other Lexus models such as lc 500, is 500, and rcf...
nope. your not getting that v8 in any of those. This is the only iteration of this particular V8.
The most reliable engine on the planet!
This is a steal.
Insane GX Ben !! ❤❤
What? What is insane about this old truck?
@Brian_Eugene_Lee You need to get out more.
@Brian_Eugene_Lee There isn't anything special about it.
@Brian_Eugene_Lee Sounds dismal.
@Brian_Eugene_Lee Saddening.
Hey everybody it’s Ben hardy and today’s-vim-gonna reviewing this Lexus gx. Bro please slow down in your introduction finish your words
I don’t like the black wheels. The original ones looks more stock
Absolutely beautiful 🤩
This is a good SUV, however I am waiting on the GX 550 to hit the dealerships in the coming year.
Less vehicle (twin turbo V6) for a log more money ($8K more), and a very long wait list!
The GX bit of dated wish It was More modern V6 is still powerful like the V8
A V6 can never be a V8 and let’s get real, Joe much more power do you need to go from one traffic light to another?
100% agree
❤LEXUS❤
Who can afford to buy 65k suv??
59k premium plus
I traded in a paid off
