Awesome! I wasn’t that lucky but I do have 3 shinies as of the time of typing this. The first one is a shiny Shinx I randomly found on day 2 before the 2nd gym while very lost, the other two are a Murkrow caught Tuesday and a Sudowoodo caught yesterday. Both of these were found while hunting for regular female Eeveelutions (Sylveon & Leafeon respectively). 😅 Fun fact: Something I found yesterday is that if you go to the area by the Fairy Type Star Base where the Tera Sylveon spawns and use a sandwich with a Psychic Type Encounter booster, it’s Espeon spawns for days since no other Psychic Pokémon spawns there. You can also get Sylveon (in the yellowed grass near the town with the Psychic gym), Flareon (in the grass near the exit to the cave to get here in the first place) & Umbreon (inside said cave) easier (though not to the extent of Espeon) with sandwiches that boost their respective types encounter rates since there’s only 1 (or 2 (technically 3 if you count Fidough’s evo which only spawns in packs) in Sylveon’s case) other Pokémon of their type in their area. Could also help with Jolteon on Socorrat Trail since Raichu is the only other Electric spawn here but Raichu is already a very common spawn so while your odds may be better, it kinda feels like Raichu for days. Umbreon is actually a bit similar just with Sableye instead of Raichu but not NEARLY as bad. Glaceon, Leafeon (Leafeon is actually in the same aforementioned place as Jolteon and one of Espeon’s spawn points) and Vaporeon are all in areas where there’s many more Pokémon of their type, so good luck with them. But if you or anyone want to shiny hunt the others where this actually works, this is the way to do it! Just have a ton of the ingredients you’ll need since the effects of sandwiches only last half an hour. On the other side of things, if you find them and wanna hunt another Pokémon this way, making a different sandwich will cancel the last one’s effects and replace them with their own!
@@SakuraLovesong Wow, thanks for the tips! I haven't really touched the sandwich/food mechanics yet and I didn't know that you can do this with them. 9:05 Charcadet, armorouge and ceruledge do have shinys and those that appear in the video are indeed their shiny form, and yes the only thing that changes is that the flames on their eyes turn blue,i honestly would put it in garchomp tier because it changes such a small detail and its such a big waste of potential.I think the gimmighoul evolution line is the same thing but im not too sure about that one.
Got the shiny charm for the first time in 20 years of playing Pokémon. I couldn’t have done it without amazing people helping me out. I now have an actual reason to care about shiny hunting so excited.

“Of course we’re gonna talk about the spider next because charlottes web” can’t argue with gamer reasoning, when I see spider looking Pokémon I certainly feel obligated to think about it solely because charlottes web exists.
Charcadet, Armarouge, and Ceruledge shinies are very hard to tell apart. Charcadet’s eyes are blue for the shiny, and so is Armarouge. Ceruledge’s shiny, however, has yellow
The gimmighoul shiny turns gimmighoul white, and gholdengo turns the lines a little more orange. Charcadet, and Armarouge’s eyes turn blue, an Ceruledge’s eyes turn orange. Taruos’s head and body swap with the fur around its neck. All of them probably go into Garchomp tier.
As a pig farmer I feel obliged to inform that regular Lechonk is also pig coloured - technically more pig coloured than the shiny as many old races had/have dark pigmented fur and/or skin, while what we think of in modern time as a "regular pig" is a crossbreed between 3-4 pig races, where 2 of them are only pink due to humans breeding the pigment out of their skin for esthetic food reasons.
But John the change between the dog's hair is that it's becoming less saturated because it's further into decay. So I would venture to say that it is actually a really smart change
For the Tinkaton line, people are guessing its shiny is only the hammer, because if you take a Corviknight shiny and make its armour tainted/rusted, it turns into a similar shade of brownish copper colour.
Nacli is one of my favourite shinies. It's like it's gone from NaCl (Sodium Chloride) to CuCl (Copper I Chloride), which has a yellow colour instead of normal white table salt.
Kinda shocked about sprigatito's line, that was the first shiny ive ever actually gone out of my way to hunt, the softer blue green and violet colors really compliment eachother imo

If only I can get shiny Vaporeon and glaceon with this method 😔, since they're my favorite eeveelutions. Though, getting a shiny umbreon is never a bad thing in my book!
The PM7 guarantee is real. I've been playing Pokémon since I was 7 - I'm now 27. I got my first EVER shiny (static shinies excluded) last night playing Scarlet. Been subscribed to PM7 for a while, and now the shinies pop up? Gua-ran-tee
I randomly came across a shiny Pawmi yesterday, it surprised me so much! It's now on my team and I love it!
tomorrow john, im getting my piplup plushie
Me watching this after playing violet for a bit and walking past the shiny thinking it was just a female or male specific colour
😢
Yeah, these suckers get you when they got a gender specific color change.
The charcadet's line does have a very simple - and in my opinion, good - change:
their eyes are different colours.
Charcadet's just turn blue, and ceruledge and armourouge swap colouration.
I got a shiny Pawmi and it was the first shiny I have ever caught in a main pokemon game so I am very happy with it, even if pink isn't my color
Ayyy! Glad you liked my boy Varoom's shiny!
DO NOT CALL VAROOM A BOY!
Yesterday I got a shiny mastiff and I evolved him and he is on my team and I love him very cute :)
Congrats!
I've seen the night form's shiny, but what's the shiny day form look like?
0:06 BAH! 🤣 lmao
9:05
Charcadet, armorouge and ceruledge do have shinys and those that appear in the video are indeed their shiny form, and yes the only thing that changes is that the flames on their eyes turn blue,i honestly would put it in garchomp tier because it changes such a small detail and its such a big waste of potential.I think the gimmighoul evolution line is the same thing but im not too sure about that one.
@mywinner973 bot
Got the shiny charm for the first time in 20 years of playing Pokémon. I couldn’t have done it without amazing people helping me out. I now have an actual reason to care about shiny hunting so excited.
I wish I could find a shiny lol. I’ve been playing since 6am on the release date and I can’t find a single shiny
Same then I got a text from a manager where I work and he found a shiny hoppip about 45 minutes in. I've played about 7 hours
*Here’s a question for you*
Do you like the shiny Hoppip line? Rate what tier you put them in.
I got my first shiney randomly passing by a group of regular paldean tauros, didnt even reolize till it put them side by side. His name is Ferdinand and i love him.
The spider-pig clip reminded me of something my mom told me my grandpa used to do with me as a baby, he used to pick me up and put me on the ceiling and walk around with my in his hands on the ceiling saying "Spider-Pig Spider-Pig"
Sprigatito deserved to be a bit higher. The mint green is nice on it. Sprigaminto.
I also find the color pretty clean
I spent 45+ minutes hunting shiny wattrel so seeing it tiered so low is disappointing yet acceptable- I think I’m biased because I love the typing and the derpy little bird design hahah- one of my fav regional birds :))
😁 🐳 Shiny CETITAN/ cetoddle is my first and only shiny. Not that I’ve tried hunting anyway. I love that it looks like a legendary dark beast of the abyss. It was a fated encounter atop the highest peak in Paldea. I always loved Marine Biology, so the chonky whale beast is perfect for me!
How did you not put the mice family in Garchomp tier?
Once again you have created an awesome video. Maybe next time you can see who you can punt to the moon?
Everyone subscribe to PM7 for extra shiny luck
8:18
"And then we get to the tumblewee-"
🤣 I love you man
Houndstone and their pre-evo already looks so much like my late dog. Seeing their shiny I cried because L.T. was a blonde like the the shiny.
I send my regards...
i just subscibed and yesterday i got two shinies in like 1 hour of each other. obiously the pm7 shiny luck is so powerful, it can time travel
Glimmora was the first shiny I ever got in any of the mainline Pokemon games and I'll cherish that cyan oval until the end of time
PM7 i need help why is my toxtricitys electricity blue instead of yellow also there is everstones
0:09 garchomp XD
I like that the shiny one with the hammer has only the hammer, since it's hammer is canonically corviknight armor, it means it killed shiny corviknights
I think my shiny drought of 10 years was actually cleared not long after I subscribed to PM7. Coincidence or not, we'll never know.
Hi! Brand new to the channel. Wonderful find! What program is being used to organize the Pokémon in sections?! My OCD demands this beautiful thing!!!
POV you’re Purplecliffe and already ran away from a shiny Lechonk
I love how he skipped the Charcadet line because he didn’t know if they had shinies because of how awful they sre
“Of course we’re gonna talk about the spider next because charlottes web” can’t argue with gamer reasoning, when I see spider looking Pokémon I certainly feel obligated to think about it solely because charlottes web exists.
man look at garchomp, it got its' own tier, so inspirational
I JUST OPENED UR VIDEO WHILE I HAVE BEEN HUNTING FOR SHINY FEESH FOR ABOUT 2 HOURS AND BOOM I GOT IT. THANK YOU PM7 GUARANTEE
Charcadet, Armarouge, and Ceruledge shinies are very hard to tell apart. Charcadet’s eyes are blue for the shiny, and so is Armarouge. Ceruledge’s shiny, however, has yellow
Good vid!
Can we talk how spidops is Spider-Man and also with the shiny it’s literally Spider-Man
The charcadet line does change, but only the eyes
John: Sprigatito and Fuecocos shinies Barley change i don’t like them quaxlys shinies barley change I LOVE THEM
Guys the mallet is supposed to be that pale tan copper color, it's Korviknights shiny color
I love how the charcadet line of shinies look SO bad that he didn’t even realize they were different
12:44 elephants? What about frogs….
Tinkaton’s shiny makes no sense at all, if its hammer is out of Corviknight’s fur, why is it brown when shiny corviknight is grey
As someone who found a shiny Litten not even in 15 seconds of hunting I can confirm that being subbed to pm7 you get more shinys 🎉
Corviknight looks more silvery to me than rusted
@@stuffandthings617 The rust is very light (as a shiny)
Nacli is one of my favourite shinies. It's like it's gone from NaCl (Sodium Chloride) to CuCl (Copper I Chloride), which has a yellow colour instead of normal white table salt.
I love that the mini spider has spider-man colors. Great reference there
Quaxly line is NOT better than Fuecoco line. It’s literally just a lighter shade……
Kinda shocked about sprigatito's line, that was the first shiny ive ever actually gone out of my way to hunt, the softer blue green and violet colors really compliment eachother imo
Not saying I believe in this but I actually did get more shiny pokemon after I subscribed... my number of shiny pokemon in arceus went from 15 to 73 and I got a random shin drakloak as well as a small few others which I can't think of right now
I was watching your video while playing through Pokémon violet, and at 7:07-7:08, when the yoshi sound played, it looked like Miraidon made that sound.
The charcadet line eyes just change from a red or whatever to a blue. It's not that big of a shiny but MAN I want a shiny one for 1 reason that being it'll be perfect for the name I picked out for the double blade one (Sorry I'm bad with their names lol) so I am definitely shiny hunting it for the special name I have in mind
What website/app are you using in these tier chart videos?
I would say “Why do you have to do my guy Garchomp like that? It’s my favorite pokemon”, but like… I get it. I absolutely agree. Not even mad
charcadets line does have shinies! the only change is that the eyes are blue.
gimmighoul and gholdengo have shinies too, gimmighoul barely changes and gholdengo doesn’t change at all
Fun fact, the Tink line's shiny hammers is made from shiny Corviknights, which is pretty lever considering their lore
Since when is Shiny Corviknight bronze?
You did my man garchomp dirty 😢
I kid you not I decided to listen to this as background noise since I’ve watched it before while I was playing Violet hatching eggs and while John’s explaining shiny Lechonk I ran into a full odds shiny Lechonk, John I think you summoned it
Bro why is it always garchomp, aren’t y’all forgetting about the togepi line
Hey John, were did you buy the posters in the background?
For Kilowattrel it wouldve been great when they used the original colors of a frigatebird, there the sack is bright red. That woudve looked dope for both of them.
I actually disagree on Sprigatito. It's bright and cheerful. I think it goes with the disposition well. Just friendly and fun. It looks like a pal. I'd put it in Huntable.
Fr. I'm actively hunting sprigatito. Proud meowscarada stan lmao
I do like that you can very easily passively hunt for shinies in this game, already got myself a shiny Hoppip and a shiny Cyclizar, both full odds, just by walking around the world.
What is the program you are using for the actual chart???
I practically tripped over my Shiny Wooper thinking it was a Chewtle. Pleasant surprise less than an hour in.
PM7. Oh poor, sweet PM7. If you put the Quaxly line higher than the Sprigatito line, you've played yourself.
Hey out of curiosity where did you get those posters on your wall? They look awesome!
