Yeah, I went around 3 days without a shiny with charm, some perfected entries, AND doing MMOs once.
Noki's charm decided to act up during the race I suppose.
Edit - Though yeah it is really good, even with there being two competing, without charm it can get pretty one-sided as we can see, luck factor or not.

My first shiny in Legends Arceus was the Alpha Blissey in the first area. I was terrified and so stressed because I didn't have everything unlocked. I didn't even have climbing available yet

NOT KIRLIA! Also as a side note I have failed many a shinies in this game, but that is why I have autosave on, because it always goes back to the same camp before I find the shiny, but the shiny still being registered by the game

Legends Arceus is the only game where I have autosave on, it has helped me save so many shinies

Hey Noki, I was a little late to the party, just life and stuff, but after watching this video I decided I wanted to do a shiny locked challenge, specifically in Legends Arceus, just for myself, not to record or anything. Playing Legends Arceus again I was reminded how amazing this game is. I also remembered I never beat Volo or completed the post game, so I set out to do that first. While gathering wood for Cogita in the Heartwood, literally as I landed I heard the shiny noise, turned to my right, saw a green cascoon rolling toward me. While doing the massive mass outbreaks quests in the Alabaster Icelands I did an Oshawott outbreak, just a regular one, not a shiny one, and a shiny Oshawott appeared immediately, walked straight up to me, and went in the first ball I threw at it. Finally while finishing up the Unowns, I went to capture Unown K and a Blue Ralts appeared beside me... I'm not counting ANY of these for my challenge, but I now have the Shiny Charm and intend on starting the challenge soon! Love your videos and thank you for getting me in Legends Arceus again!

7:48 Geodude reminds me of the crazy luck i had few days back , one day i found a shiny graveler in an outbreak but failed it because i saved in front of the outbreak and the next day i found a shiny geodude in outbreak , shiny graveler randomly and a shiny alpha golem , that was the craziest day ever and in total that day i found 12 shinies , graveler really felt bad after i failed it lol

I almost never go into battle to catch pokemon, I go full 1vall mode with sticky globs. Not only is it more fun but yeah, they usually can't just run away and disappear. Good video! 👍

my first shiny in arceus was a goomy in an outbrake while trying to get to star level 5 and it ran. After a week i commplete the game to 100% and then went on hunting Mode for it i found Goobert(shiny goomy) in and single outbrake exactly a week later. don't give up on the hunt mimik
I also love shiny Carnivine. I don't mind shinies that don't change too much, and I really love how swampy shiny Carnivine looks. It looks especially like a plant you'd find in a swamp.
What's really sad is that I'm relatively sure Mimik could have reclaimed that shiny Kirlia by using the backup save mechanic. By pressing X + B + Up simultaneously, the game allows you to load a backup save.
In Legends Arceus, loading the backup save will place you back to when you had entered the area, which means any shinies that were on the map but had been fainted, ran away, etc will be back.
I've recovered a shiny Chimchar before this way 😅
