That Igglybuff one caught me so off guard. I knew this would happen with Hoppip and Skiploom because I've seen it, but I had no idea it happened with Igglybuff, and that made me WHEEZE 🤣
Doesn’t it say he is like a ballon in the dex?
Hopefully Igglybuff doesn't bounce off anything, or else it won't stop bouncing.

I've seen this happen before when training for the bug type gym, when it's raining, igglybuff and jigglypuff tend to just get blown away when you approach them

That last one is the 'deep water walking' animation. I hit a spot in a shallow stream and triggered it this morning. Apparently when the Clive scene started, it dismounted the player and they were teleported BUT the trigger for being in deep water hadn't been cleared.
That makes sense. Mine did the same thing with Clive when I was in the ocean behind the fairy star camp.
Is there like one guy locked in a room that's making the code like what's going with this game
Flamigo is silly until you realize the base of its neck is tied into a knot, and then that raises many more questions
The Pokedex states that it does this to keep it's "Fighting Spirit" in its body, because if it undoes the knot in its neck, it would come blasting out like a Hyper Beam.
Even though I don't know how it breathes, eats, or how its skeleton works, I'm still okay with its knot neck. It's the only thing that makes it not a normal flamingo. It's kind of like a balloon animal. Could've used some more details though.

Hearing Stitch's "Hi" with Fuecoco's face just makes me smile so much. I did not know I needed that to be his voice but that is now all I'll ever hear looking at his dumb face
I honestly don't think the Iggilybuff flying away is a bug. It happens to Hoppip and Jigglypuff too. All 3 of them are very light and can fly in the wind; according to the pokedex at least.
They are supposed to fly away, just not that...aggressively. I think they were meant to gently float away, not shoot off the screen like a rocket, lol.

I love that everyone just calls Fuecoco a derpy lil idiot then when he evolves he's still kinda derpy then when he evolves AGAIN he's just a giant 700lb prehistoric BEAST of a Pokemon and suddenly he gets everyone's respect.
Kinda like real crocs when you think about it.
Crocodiles are my favorite animals, and Ghost is my favorite type. When he evolved for the second time, I was so happy.

The thing with Flamigo's name, it's likely a combination of Flamingo, & Amigo, Spanish for friend, literally making it a flamingo friend
They could have called it Amingo for basically the same pun.

I experienced falling though the world in area zero, fell all the way to the bottom floor. Suprised it still had collision and even more suprised that glimmoras and glimlets were spawning. Ended up finding a shiny glimmora while out of bounds so that was awesome. I doubt anyone can say they found a shiny and caught it outside the map
Nah. I can. I caught a shiny wall Raichu also in area zero. It was also one of those wall encounters where it doesn't force them into playable space so mine was still outside the map when caught.

9:02 Scarlet and Violet might not be graphically stunning but literally everything else in the game is the best thing Pokemon has ever done
There's a glitch where all the battles have the same code, aka if you use certain moves on the first turn things like Sheer Cold will always hit.

@@mebreevee1997 afaik yes, but you have to do the same things every time: like in a double battle, one pokemon has to use a move on the same slot and the other has to as well and they both have to outspeed otherwise the outcome will change.
Glick just made a video on it. It's only in the battle stadium I think. Still pretty bad considering online battles are more important that spamming sheer cold throughout the story. It all runs on the same seed. So probability rolls will always be the same if you repeat the same steps.

8:54 the devs for this game where like "ok so you know how it makes a sound when youre near a shiny in legends? Lets remove that, no sound, no audio, you just have to find them. Oh and designers, make sure the new pokemon have shinies that are *barely* distinguishable from their non-shiny counterparts."
At this point I'd rather have ugly shinies than shinies that look almost exactly like it's normal varient. Seriously, who thought this was a good idea?!

I use the Houndstone strat so much in Pokémon Violet. Last respects is overpowered when all your other Pokémon are dead.
Seems like almost no one notices Flamigo looks like a boxing glove, hence the fighting type.

Scarlet and Violet are the buggiest BEST games in the entire series and I'll die on that hill.
Poor Arven. The twist was incredible, and I think this is the first time that the PROFESSORS were the evil bastards in the game. And yes I will call them that because even the AI the SOPHISTICATED AI WHO WAS EVERYTHING THE PROFESSORS WERE, was SHOCKED at the callousness of the professors, in being willing to let Paldea suffer, just for their dream. So not only did they let potentially dangerous pokemon roam Paldea in the Titans and other paradox Pokemon, but they potentially were the indirect cause of Mabosstiff getting hurt, and completely neglected Arven during his childhood. AND NOT ONLY THAT but one professor walked out on the other shortly after Arven was born, and they gave their life not to save their only child, but THE BOX ART LEGENDARY. I have never hated a fictional character this much in a long time.

There's one way they might not be. If you read the journals they're seemingly getting more and more unhinged as time goes on. If this is an effect of the Pokemon implied to create the terrastal phenomenon then maybe their minds were being warped, maybe. It would imply the AI is a bit more of their original personality without the mind alterations since an AI would be immune to brain alterations what with not having a flesh brain. Either way this implies a truly malicious pokemon closer to a horror creature than anything that's ever been in Pokemon before. Either way I think it's some good storytelling.

YES that happened to me yesterday, I spent countless hours searching for one applin, and then I saw and it turned out to be zorua. I WAS SOO MAD. But don't worry Apple pie is on the team, thank goodness it didn't take me long to find another applin.
That happened to me with Eevee and Ditto before the Eevee Tera event

Arven's story was rough for me, the touch and go especially because I had a dog of my own that passed away earlier this year so it was extra extra rough 😭
The all dogs go to heaven dialogue saying goodbye to the Pokémon. Why 😭😂
I had that same thing with the Zorua happen to me with a ditto when I was search Tauros Herds for an Aqua Breed. Now all Dittos have to die...so getting your breeding in while you can.
6:35 I saw this too when I first played Violet and made my laugh so hard for minute because of how unexpected it was. And what makes it more funny that when I saw other people play the game, they didn't get it.
Many of the "3d models going nuts" glitches happen when a savegame is loaded again and again. This also happens in Arceus and many other games other than Pokemon

That zoura is so accurate. I was looking for a paldean aqua tauros once. I looked EVERYWHERE couldn't find it. Got a water type sandwich up, finally found one after about 30 mins, it was a ditto. One of the only times un pokemon I've actually raged quit. I was so pissed. 🤣

There’s a glitch where if you’re in co-op with a someone that got the opposite version that you got, and go into the great crater, it will actually spawn the paradox Pokémon that aren’t in your version. Might take a bit, but it’s really cool to see
Not a glitch. It was already confirmed that you can see version exclusive pokèmon when you join a host's game. Its intended.
@@Jenema2 It doesn’t seem intended in the crater. It works the same, you just can’t see each other, but only most of the time. Last time we tried it, I could see my friend and they couldn’t see me. It’s definitely buggy and I have no idea if it’s working better or worse than intended
Scarlet and Violet are the first games I’ve been genuinely angry about having to wait till Christmas to play them

Flamigo is not *just* a flamingo.. it has some basis off those inflatable flamingos and also lawn flamingos.. and it's name is a pun on amigo.. people just don't know what a normal flamingo looks like.. like it has a knot tied in its neck and is rounded all over...
The joke with the "I am a 34 yr old man" has nothing on the literal grandmother that bought her game in front of me when I got my copy, she legit said it was her copy too so no confusion if it was for a grandkid

Probably because you are actually playing it on Switch hardware. Most of the issues shown here generally only occure when running the game on an emulator.

Lmao the shiny thing happened to me and my friend. Both hunted silicobra together and he had recently got one but stayed to help me. After a while one spawns but I was looking at it because I wasn't sure, when boom. My friend tokyo drifts directly into my shiny. We worried it would despawn if he ran so he caught it and traded it to me. Not gonna lie though, that was freaking hilarious.

Did you see Mikey’s glitch in part 7 of his playthrough? He ended up getting stuck 2cm away from a Gimmeghoul when he initiated battle with it and had to chuck pokeballs off the side of the tower to catch it while move animations blew between his legs. It happened twice on two different towers, and when he finally did catch them, the Repeat and Quick Balls were facing backwards)

What makes scarlet & violet so good is a combo of the story and how much entertainment you get from glitches. 10/10 Game!

That battle on Pokémon Showdown had the move "Last Respects" it is a ghost type move with 50 base power by default and an extra 50 base power for each of your fainted party Pokémon for a total of 300 base power. Then with STAB it gets 450 power. If you're facing either a ghost or a psychic type Pokémon, it jumps to 900 power. And if you're up against a Pokémon that is both ghost and psychic, Ex: smaller Hoopa and Calyrex riding Spectrier, this move will have a power of 1800. Last Respects can yeet your opponent into the Shadow Realm if used right.
Yeah, that's why Houndstone got banned to Ubers within a week of the game's release.

Honestly, i think they should have done the story slightly diffrent end wise. i think if you pick Scarlet, you auto get Karidon, and it's actually Maridon you fight as the end boss. The opposite professor being the villain, while the one you picked is the one to help you. It would have made the future vs past thing feel more important. Also helping it make more sense when you fight the boss legend in your game. Tho I get they did this so you have to get the other game to get the other legend. But still it would have been cool this way. Tho I will say Scarlet and Violet have the best story we have had in pokemon in a long time so they are improving with that at least.

Reminds me when i had a Klefki outbreak on MY union circle (Onion Ring) and my friend and i spotted a shiny Klefki at the same time and we both ran towards it at the same time saying absolutely nothing to eachother. He got to it first and caught it. But theres a good ending. Not even one minute later i spotted ANOTHER shiny Klefki and thought it was just my friend trolling me until i threw a pokeball at it and was pleasantly suprised.
Roar of dedede is such a good song that sometimes I do those random RAHs whilst listening to the song.
Scarlet and Violet are gonna be so much fun. Glitch hunting like Skyrim.

The Tauros walking into the lake reminds me of my Mudsdale spawning under the water instead of on that little floaty platform and my amazing screenshot of her head just barely visible under the water as she and the Scyther I was battling just stare at each other lmfao
