    It looks like the hands use IK for the gun placement, there might be some sockets on the manny skeleton that you don’t have on your characters

    Thanks so much, very helpful. Could you do a follow up, maybe using one of the Paragon characters, such as Revenant? For some reason the Lyra gun doesn't even show up. The Paragon characters say they support UE 5, not sure how that relates to which retarget you pick.

      NP. I don't use Paragon Characters since starting my project, but I would do the retargeting in 4.27 and move the character to 5. I may try it and record (if I get any free time) but there are lots of vids on retargeting in 4 and the name convention presets are in 4.27 , If I am not mistaken.

      @@blaqueaddonnisgames Wouldn't using the ABP_UE4_Mannequin_Retarget be the same as doing it in 4.27?

      @@bmeist7873 Just did it and the gun showed fine for me . She is in game but the pistol is a little offset. I used Phase.

      ​@@blaqueaddonnisgames In Lyra, you want to use the ABP in Characters > Heroes> Animations > Mannequin_ue4.
      Right click on the ABP_UE4_Mannequin_Retarget.
      IK Retargeter sould be UE4 mannequin to UE5 Mannequin.
      Change the 5 Mannequin to the SKELETAL mesh of your choosing. then retarget to your folder that you desire.
      Rename your Retargetted ABP,
      You can create a child Manny or Quinn in the Content>Character>Cosmetics and then change the mesh and assign your new ABP and it should work.
      OR if you dont want to retarget, and have a UE4 mannequin, you can go into the Mannequin skeleton. go to Asset details, and add Compatible Skeleton Array, and Select the unreal 5 mannequin, now you should be able to just use ABP Copy on your character mesh instead of a retarget.

    Can you make ue5 Lira to from a shooter to a melee?

      I'm sure it is possible there is a gun but melee already so that would be expandable through Data Assets, I am sure.

      Used the UE4 retarget and many of the hands look better but some are still looking weird....
