    I wonder about Quixel Bridge that's built into unreal / part of the epic asset library, I wonder will that side still be free for people with an Epic games account or are what you saying it's all just going to FAB and all some kind of paid/subscription/points method of transaction?

    Weapons don't align with hands when aiming. Was hoping you would touch on that but everyone seems to leave that part out.

      @@blaqueaddonnisgames Just the weapons in general when adding a metahuman. When metahuman is holding a weapon there is an offset from gun to hand. The gun doesn't match in place with the hand.

      @@Take10Games If your metahuman is not a tall male then there are issues. I am working through those issues now, as my character is a tall female. I will post when I figure it all out. Got some done but pistol and some other attachments not done yet.

    Very cool, great pace and clarity. I wonder if you have done anything more with retargeting? I saw you used a UE5 skm so not necessary but there is a retargeting blueprint in there. How would we adjust this for a shorter character?

    Great video. Can you do a tutorial on how to replace the enemy AI mesh as well? Following the same steps leads to stretching/jank. I've noticed there's no visual skeletal mesh in the AI BP to set as the leader bone like the player character.

      Thanks....There is a "BodyMesh" set up in the AI Blueprint to follow the main mesh But the blueprint is UE4 and has not been updated to UE5. I will see about adding a retarget setup to the Anim Bp. If this works I will post a tutorial.

    sorry, forgot to actually give you my feedback on Motion matching. First impressions are that I love it. But I need to see it not be too resource demanding. So far, I would definitely use this in my player character, but maybe not so much for my NPC's. I will need to do some testing with fully MM actors, both player character and enemies in combat just to see how the FPS holds up. Also need to get used to making the perfect marriage between locomotion movements + combat movements. Got so used to how it works using "states" that I am not entirely sure how to make it work with MM. Either way, this is the future and I am diving into it now to stay ahead of the curve.

    Hey man this looks really cool ! I, myself, just started to try and plug the GAS mechanics into one of my other projects but am struggling with trying to "wire" up some of the other functionalities so that it all blends together. Some of these other projects I have just "dont play nice" with each other, lol. Regarding the traversing, everything looks perfectly climbing up and jumping over, but is there anything in there that works climbing downward ? For example, instead of just "falling off" that ledge you just climbed up, is it possible to "climb down" it instead ? I guess that would only make sense depending on the distance between the top ledge to the bottom floor.

    All amazing stuff, I personally had the pleasure of supporting @makearealone for three months now, unfortunately I won't be able to keep on doing so for a while but I'm very happy with the assets he provides, the interaction system alone is what I really have been trying to achieve for all the two long years I've been learning and developing projects in Unreal Engine, failing miserably. I cannot stop recommending his creations, even if I really hoped I could climb on literally anywhere without additional spots but hopefully the other mod suggested here will help me solve that myself. In any case, again, if you can support the guy you won't be disappointed. I'm not a fan of the ALS at all so, for that reason, I'm not into AGLS, unfortunately. Despite that I definitely admire the dedication and if you folks are ok with using ALS as base for your locomotion do go for it, it's not for me but can be perfect for you! It looks very similar to another mod by @Legend on TH-cam, who has been giving free mods for a couple of years at least by now and AGLS really reminds me his LOCO project you can find on Patreon. The influence by ZzGERTzZ's Interaction Character is quite evident in AGLS so I wouldn't be surprised if the developer simply used some of the mechanics ZzGERTzZ used in IC, so that might be something you want to verify befoe making a choice. Personally I believe @makearealone's Interaction+Parkour system is the best asset to achieve what AGLS does, without being tied to the ALS which to me remains a nightmare trying to personalize if that's what you love doing just like I either do. All that been said, which I hope might be useful, thanks to Blaque Addonnis Games for putting all these mods/assets on a spotlight and for any tutorial from the past and forward!

    I didn't dig it yet but it does look impressive I need and perfectly fits what I need in terms of mass combat. I'm definitely interested in the companion system you have shown here, it was the thing that immediately caught me invested, after the plugin of course. I perfectly agree on the fact Epic should integrate it as default plugin for what it does, simply amazing. Thanks for having helped me to not sleep on it, it's definitely a "must have" for any project _{just like Flat Nodes, which might look like just aesthetics but is not and it was nice to see someone else using it}!_

      @@blaqueaddonnisgames It should be pretty easy to retarget the animations if you just have the Always Tick Bones on the original skeletal mesh and setup a Retarget Pose on the Animation blueprint. I will download that project and have a look myself, as that one looks the best.

      I wish it were that easy Sockets need to be copied as well as some ik knee configurations, otherwise your character floats with legs crouched looking like a genie....lol. I added all the bones to a meta human and she is floating with legs tucked like a genie. Let me know if you figure it out I will be working on it as well!

      Oops replied to the wrong one…. He just released AGLS1.0.2 with ue5 skeleton and metahuman support. I haven’t tested it yet though

    Thanks for sharing! From what you’ve seen, would this work on a dedicated server in terms of replication? Like bots that replace players in a multiplayer game?

      According to the author It was build for single or multi player games I am going to try in in the Lyra environment and see what happens.
