I read in a rhetoric book from a German rhetoric teacher that he doesn t recommend transitions very much. He says mostly transitions are points there speakers blunder and tell lot of nonsense. But you give here a way to make it better. So my question is another point he says. He says that such things are good for lectures and schools but for a convincing speech or a speech of amusement it costs the flow of the speech and makes it much more boring. So he recommends not to make transitions. Another rhetorical teacher writes in his book that you can in easier speeches forget transitions and recommends it for more complex topics. Does this recommendations go with your own opinion or do you think it not good idea?
