Seems like a major flaw in cameras that are NOT connected to the cloud is the fact that, in the event of a major accident, there is a good chance that you won't have the presence of mind (assuming you are even conscious) to remove the sd card before someone steals it.
I don’t believe they make side cameras. Only thing you would really be able to do is to have an interior camera. Really just depends on what type of camera that you are looking for. I’m not worried about break ins where I live. Just want to make sure I’m covered on the road from the crazies.
@@jeremyoberbeck2467 ya for sure. I am in Cali in a apartment complex. My car has been broken into twice and broke my window once since Covid. would be great if they made a 2 lenses camera. Like front and back one on one housing unit…

My piece of unsolicited advice: In the future, if you need video directly from your desktop or a program on your computer, I'd hightly recommend OBS (open broadcasting software). It's free and quite easy to use, and looks a touch neater than a camera pointed at a screen. Not that there's anything wrong with that, of course ;) Nonetheless, great stuff!
Great review. I'm assuming you can zoom in and read license plates. Does it have a feature like the Tesla sentry mode where it works while you are shopping?
Thing that sucks had 2 different cheaper brand cams in 2 different trucks and was hit in both not my fault with in 1 1/2 years and both cams failed. And also had Vantrue N2 and it has heating and memory card issues. So thinking on trying this X1000 . Hows build Quality any issues ?

Looks sweet. Only thing is how could you see the sides of the truck? So like if someone breaks in or breaks your window..

Yes. It has parking mode for motion and sensor.
Thanks for the video. Is the capture in 1080p? Also, can it move video to an iPhone?
2k camera. This model does not have the WiFi feature to sync to your phone. SD card storage only. You can view playback on the camera itself
Both cameras are 2k
Or view footage thru a pc or card reader to your phone simple
