Seems like a major flaw in cameras that are NOT connected to the cloud is the fact that, in the event of a major accident, there is a good chance that you won't have the presence of mind (assuming you are even conscious) to remove the sd card before someone steals it.

Hi Jeremy, Does you other long LED light also work thats in the bed that came with the truck? So you could hit the switch in the bed or cab and have the long LED light and lights that shine down from the cab all on? My factory installed lights no longer work after they installed these.

Do you have a drop in or spray in bed liner? Does either work with the installation

Jeremy, does the MX4 come with prop rods to hold the cover up against the back window? Also, does the MX4 which has Matte finish match the Maverick's surrounding black trim perfectly or is the matte finish dull compared to the Maverick trim? I know the Bakflip G2 is a gloss finish. Just wanted to know which finish matches the trim best.

Quick question. I did not install my own backflip g2 but it barely reaches the tailgate. The tail gate is also a quarter inch below the backflip. With the cover. Loser the car wash fully wet my box under the cover. What king of adjustments are a available to me

Thank you! I ordered my Maverick with the bed extender and I was unsure where the extender straps attach to the tailgate. I googled around looking for instructions but couldn't find anything. Your video had the information I was looking for.

Nice video! You wedged the wiring in the A pillar on the windshield side but how did you wedged in the wiring when you got to the bottom of A pillar and dash board? Did you remove the A pillar trim piece??

Thanks for the advice on the insertion of a gasketing in bed rail gap. I purchased the MX4 for my Maverick in June and my son just purchased the same product for his new 2023 Chevrolet Silverado. We both love them! Keep up the great videos!

I just bought one of these for my truck and I am extremely unhappy with it. Mine leaks like a sieve through the pivot points of the folding parts as well as the rails that clamp onto the truck bed side rails. Very disappointed to pay that kind of money and have this issue...waiting to see what BAKflip does about it, opened a warranty claim. Should not leak like that

Nice video for the front part of the cover BUT the water leaks pretty heavy near the tail gate. Any suggestions??

I agree. I ordered it because I was fooled like you. Too late cos I already took delivery of the truck. They charged me $100 for labor. $300 later I got a couple of LEDs 😏

Did you notice the key " FOB " shaped hole in the center of the folding piece? That's for the "Dead Fob" placement... you were supposed to remove the factory padded piece in the Bottom console.. Which exposes a cut out in the shape of your Fob... when you have a dead Fob.. you place it in the cut out for the vehicle to enable start..just remove the new added foam piece... and drop Fob in cutout.. Just sayin..

Thanks for the video. I have one as it came with my truck, didn’t want it, but here we are. They made a big to do about only they can install it etc. yeah, 4 bolts. I’m good. I have the same right angle bit, also smaller hands, also small ratchet set. I do not have a hellcat. So, off to the store I suppose. Darn. 😀

Did you put in the rivets in the extender?

make sure to actually clean it once an awhile, a lot of people think by "lifetime filter" they dont even need to clean it
