For everyone that made this build, make sure you have Marksman as your Switch Skill instead of Critical Firepower. It wasn't mentioned in the video, and took me a while to figure out what I was doing wrong!

I had the same issue, was on my first hunt with this skill and wondered why I shoot different in the video. Then i saw him using Marksman xD
no joke, you're one of the best Rise content creator, other video show cheat-engine talisman with "ehi you, copy this but i have a godlike talisman" but you instead show viable set without talisman, seriously, i love your content keep it up!
On PC you could just cheat the talisman yourself on switch you dont have that option. God charms are only for speedrunning tho. It wont make that much of a difference when casually hunting.
Loved this weapon to death in MH4U, and was so excited to see it back when Seregios was announced in Rise/SB :O
i like that format for the builds at the end. rather than the previous vids where you scroll through armor pieces one by one.
So as someone who isnt HR 100 I wasnt able to get 2 Hellfire, but with a recoil 2, 2-2-0 talisman I found a set with an extra level of coalescence, resentment 5, dereliction 1 and chain crit 1(if it even works). Which im hoping makes up for the 25 raw from hellfire

"Officer, I'd like to report a murder." That was incredibly fast. I'm trudging through MR4 at the moment. Spending some time now going back and hunting HR monsters for decos
I managed to make a slight variation of this with Oppressor's Rift, the Zinogre LBG. Swap out the Scorned Magnamalo arms for the Ingot arms, dropping one rank of Mail of Hellfire for Thunder Attack 3 without losing any slots. Then, any talisman with a 2 slot or two 1 slots can make that Thunder Attack 5 - the Zinogre LBG gets Piercing Thunder on RF, you see. If you get lucky and have a talisman with Normal/Rapid Up 2, you can even boost the Normal 2 it has on RF as well!
Not rapid fire but I'm really enjoying my Stick/Slicing magna LBG atm. Got part breaker to help cutting tails and all that. The faster stun/cut of them makes them exceptional at stagger breaking.

Yeah, Scorned Magnamalo's been in the trailer already. Around few seconds of screen time as "that Magnamalo with the overcompensated big-ass arm blades"

technically no u can still hunt and get the armor without grinding to mr100 as long ur mr10 and u have someone who already have the scorned magna quest u can join that quest but good luck tho its hard as f*ck happy hunting! 💪
When i was going through the weapon tree, i noticed this bowgun was an anomaly just looking at the fact it rapid fires slicing with a 3 shot mag!
back in 4U it was one of the great LBGs until you obtain relics.
its 2. 3 with ammo up technically
now I'm getting a little motivated
All we need now is the endgame version of the the sticky/slicing lbg and we'll have all the cheese again

I've got the perfect Talisman for this on Switch for when I reach the point I can get this gear.. Possibly my most prized Talisman as it is as close to what could be considered a God Roll Talisman as Possible. I have a Weakness Exploit 2 Talisman with 1 Level 2 Slot meaning it becomes an Automatic Weakness Exploit 3 Talisman. Meaning I can give this build Evade Extender 3

yeah, I saw the sergios gun pretty early into SB. It did look pretty nice; made me sad that I wouldn't be using my old Zinogre LBG since I really like the look of the zin lbg.

So I used a lesser version of this build (dont have everything opened up yet) to fuck over Aff. Narga. My damage is about 20% less, but it carried my through the fight were pierce build just took so long that I eventually carted 3x. Red boi just jumps around far too much for accurate shots. Slice is fire and forget and as an added bonus I got the tail cut also. Only took 4 refills :)

I was kinda hoping it'd be something like that narga/malzeno build vid, then "MR100+" and big oof.
For slicing atm i'm using the rank 10 izuchi lbg, same build from narga/malzeno pierce vid but replace pierce up 3 with spare shot 3 instead, getting 40+ per tick on afflicted monsters iirc but felt like it could be better so i was hoping for a build like that from you lol.
For now i'll just probably branch up to the elemental lbg build while farming to MR100 (just hit MR30 so it's gonna be a long road im expecting).
i don't know if the game is bugged but with recoil 3 and silencer i still have high recoil on slicing with that gun.
You have to use marksman instead of critical firepower. Critiacal Firepower increases recoil.
Same, needed to switch from Critical Firepower to Marksman

Its nice but don't later, even non afflicted monsters have like twice Rathian's HP? You'd have to go back for ammo at least once.
Yep, I think it is the same for stickies as well, too much health compared to ammo. Although elemental should be able to keep up.

I've always been curious, what do you do about ammo consumption? Even with Spare Shot 3 and Slashberries, I still consistently run dry on ammo and have to restock multiple times. Am I doing something wrong?
Don’t worry about restocking. But the best advice I can give is eating for bombardier lv 4 that gives you an extra percent of spareshot.

Have a back up ammo type. Slicing ammo is great because the skills for it transfer very well to other ammo types, like pierce and normal. If it's urgent just farcaster. Slicing is very comfy compared to something like sticky, where artillery is useless once you run out of sticky

just picked up LBG recently and i am a bit confused. i did the same quest on M2 Rathian however, how come i am only inflicting 55 - 59 damape (crits included) per tick on the head? is this normal or is the ammo dps affected by distance? btw here is my lbg setup using the same weapon.

What dango do you eat with this build?
I don't think 4-1-1 slottage is possible at all, at least according to datamines from the release version of the game. You can get 3-1-1, but if you roll a 4 slot that's all you'll get. I imagine the slot downgrade from 4 to 3 is of little consequence however, as you'll maybe lose a point of a comfort skill.
So 4-0-0 is all that exists? Hm, prolly staying with 3-2-1 most of the time then :(

Hey AngBata, thanks for the video!! May I ask if I may swap out the storge greaves for Gaismagorm greaves instead? Reason being dereliction would provide higher raw damage over blood lust as both skills drain health anyways.
You would loose the affinity from the storge, and Mail of hellfire needs red scroll (for raw) and dereliction blue scroll
i tried this but as a normal person, 3 pack of slice ammo is not enough and have to go back to camp.

Anybody else running this build and for some reason the slicing fires very slowly? Not at all like the video? Running 3 recoil down too. Fires crazy slow as if I have very high recoil
Are you using critical firepower? Because that could be why.
It's always critical firepower x) or silencer's missing

Hi, I copy and test this out but the max dmg per hit is 49 dmg not 61 even after Coalesence proc. Did this get nerfed? Or is the dmg moded?

It does, but it uses many slots as pre lv4 it's not that great. With talisman you should get there. :)

Have you tried great Izuchi's light bowgun, I can stack up to 3 ammo clips and you can walk and shoot at the same time, I felt like it's a little bit safer for the build
You don't need to be safe when it's dead
can i toggle fire using lbg or hbg? because click Zr for every fire is tiring if hunt for hours
What type of monsters does anti aerial rampage deco work on? Will it work on elder dragons?
Anti-aeriel is the go-to for elder dragons, Basically anything with wings anti-aerial will work on. For the most part you want anti-dragon for almost 90% of the monsters, anti-aquatic for tetranadon and the crabs, anti-fanged for volvidon, arzuros, lagombi, goss harag, and the monkeys.
The only ones that don't have a specific type are (Pyre) Rakna-Kadaki and the final boss of Sunbreak. Some of the gems overlap with each other. For example Anti-Aerial and Anti-Dragon will both work on Rathalos. Anti-Aquatic and Anti-Dragon will both work on Somnacanth. Etc. Etc.
