Ha great timing with this. I was bored yesterday with nothing new to build so I thought maybe I could try to make a normal r2 build. I went with anjanath and it hit surprisingly hard but now I got a new gun to make. Thanks
Correction, Coalescence only lasts for 30 sec, not 60. The cleared Frenzy lasts for 60 sec so you have at least 30 sec of less Raw plus the time you need to activate Coal again.
What about the Gold Rathian Light Bowgun? It's got similar Damage stats to Gore's, and it has 3 separate Deco slots, that open up a lot of additional Deco slots.
Man you should try a Mech Silkbind Shot only build with the Demon Lord Cannon (Furious Rajang LBG) - you don't need recoil/reload/spare shot skills since you are using free ammo - wirebug whisperer 3 means you will always have a wirebug ready when you are done firing - steadiness 3/ballistics 2/Long Barrel allows you to be a sniper with a machine gun - Furious Rajang LBG has 350 Raw with 20% Affinity - WEX 3/Bloodlust 1/Max Might 1 to reach 100% Affinity on weak points - Attack Boost 7/Critical Boost 3/ and Chain Crit 2 for more damage if your Talisman allows it - of course Evade Extender 2 for comfort - - - Positives: safe damage at long range, don't spend ammo, ability to have 2 mounts in a hunt on the target monster - - - Negative: when the Mech Silkbind Shot is done, you are forced to reload, then the animation to use another Mech Silkbind Shot locks you in place, some recoil with Mech Silkbind Shot - - - Its a fun way to play that I believe Capcom did not intend. I'm not sure if eating for Temper has an effect on the Mech Silkbind Shot. Last Boss LBG: Giving up Evade Extender completely and keeping Chain Crit at Lvl 2 - 100% Affinity on weak point with Wex 3/Bloodlust 1/Max Might 3/Kushala Rampage Deco - - - Attack Boost 4/Mail of Hellfire 1/ Coalescence 1 - - - looks like 2.5 less Raw than the Garangolm LBG Build I was able to make Gunna try these out tonight. Since Sunbreak started I've been running Kamura LBG and at the moment with modifiers my attack flips between 462-515 and my affinity is at 40% I love this thing mostly because even when I run out of normal 2 bullets I can use the normal 1 bullets until the monster leaves the area and I can jump to a base camp to refill. Ah, Rapid Normal 2. So overshadowed by Rapid Pierce 2 and Spread 3, but all you need is Gunpowder LV2 to refill your ammo, since you never run out of Normal 1s, and getting more of that Gunpowder is as simple as finding the nearest Flamenut plant. Edit: You can make a Pierce version of this exact build just switching the Vaik arms for the Diablos X arms and replacing the Forceshot Jewel 3 with a Pierce Jewel 3.
Was able to extend this to include chain crit 1, resentment 3 and spare shot by using a Normal 2, Lvl4 slot talisman (Arch, Arch, Dober, Sinister, Storge).
Sry as a Austrian who talks German i understand "Toy Fish Schleuder" its funny its a clear german word Teufelsschleuder and means "Devil´s Slingshot" if you translate it one by one but "Devil Slinger sounds better. But no bad feelings about it its really funny how you pronounce it. Made my Day

I have a talisman that has Rapid Fire Up 2 with a level 3 slot and a level 1 slot. I don't know if it's considered a good talisman, but it takes care of 3 levels of Rapid Fire Up, giving me more freedom with my armour sets.
If the skills of the talisman is part of the main core skill ANG is posting, it should absolutely be a good talisman, a 3,1 slot is still as good as a 3,2,1 if it can give you more options for the armors.
The only difference between Rise and World is that rapid fire doesn't lock on when you shoot, so you need to aim to hit the monster when it moves. This makes rapid fire normal ammo less appealing, especially due to the erratic nature of monsters in Rise. Taroth Support lovers may find using it a little harder than it used to be.

this video, the last part to be precise, did put something into prospective that i really didn't bother to check and calculate. When i unlocked Anima melding and did my first batches a 4-0-0 Bubbly Dance 3 WE2 talisman came out and i've been using it on all of my builds basically. I tought of it as a "good" roll since it's 100% uptime for coalescence and resuscitate, so 37-43 raw depending on coalescence level and supposing i'm using resuscitate 3 (and why wouldn't i, 3 slots for 25, or 1 slot + arc mail that also gets me 1 lvl in bloodlust. i'd be mad not to). This video basically bumped it up to "yep it's a god roll" Also this is a Bubbly Dance appreciation comment, that skill is amazing, don't sleep on it if you find a BD2-3 talisman with good slots (B lvl skill so it can roll good slots btw)
Just a small heads up Coalescence got a nerf in duration from Iceborne to Sunbreak. It went from 60 second duration in Iceborne to 30 seconds in Sunbreak. Most likely since we have so many skills to self trigger it now Capcom wanted to tone it down a bit.
I'm running a really weird build as a test: Hellfire Harbinger + (Anj LBG) Archfiend Armor Cerato Barioth Mail X Vaik Braces X Sinister Grudge Tassets Arc Greaves With tailsman I'm getting 6 ATT, 3 CB, 3 WEX, 3 MM, 3 Normal/Rapid Up and 3 Rapid Up and I'm able to get 600 damage per shot of RF 2. That's despite of the terrible -30 Affinity. Yeah yeah god charm etc but I still can't find a build to beat it. Wish it had a lv 3 rampage slot tho. Any suggestions?
Been using this for a while until I replaced with Reggie Jang. Gave up on mantle farming. Having to hunt three monsters for a chance drop of one gets old. Reggie Jang has a little more utility with sticky and para.
yeah be creative. still grinding to level 100 so that i can finally get the sinister magnamalo coil which is so prevalent in so many builds. But being creative i can still kind of get close. no god charms but lots with slots and my favorite comfy skill evade extender included.

Just chiming in once. You are a handsome dude, however I would like a MH graphic in behind, that changes with each end result. Allows me to look at familiar color and illustration with a familiar voice I trust. Appreciate different approach, can't be all things to all people. Thank you for the excellent advice.

My best talisman I've found for gunning so far Ang is a evade externder 2 poison attack 1 3-1-1.
Another great thing about Gore's LBG is that it also fires rapid pierce, which with fanning maneuver can make you reach coalecense faster.

Just chiming in once. You are a handsome dude, however I would like a MH graphic in behind, that changes with each end result. Allows me to look at familiar color and illustration with a familiar voice I trust. Appreciate different approach, can't be all things to all people. Thank you for the excellent advice.

@@AngBata11 Instead of your head and spread sheet numbers on screen, a super sweet screen saver MHRSb (maybe fan created), then overlay the stats in color to help separate values. Keeps with familiar MH visuals to help ease brain, instead of classroom feel.
