And before you can say “anaconda,” they are hot on the serpentine trail of a killer who’d like nothing better than to sink a pair of poisonous fangs into two meddling Southern sisters!
the narrator is amazing!!! Great story. Love the sisters and their families. I wish we had more in this series. RIP Anne George. You were brilliant!
Anne George is very clever at making murder and mayhem seem quite pleasant and humorous.
Ruth Ann Phimister is a brilliant narrator…and I found many books she has read, which I will definitely listen to, after the last of this series.

Isn’t that somethin’ ? We might have thought the sisters were crazy 25 years ago but now WE are the crazies. Wish we could go back to “normal”.
Murder, romance, snake handling, comedy, a runaway wife, mountain people, and a healthy heaping of Southern charm....this book has it all! Never a dull moment. Patricia Ann's inner dialogue about her bodacious sister is hilarious! 🤣
so fun listening while cleaning. makes the tasks easier and time passes so quickly
I hope Anne George got money from coca cola, aspirin, and igloo dog houses. Great advertisement for them. These books are great! I would love to hang out with these sisters!

Isn’t it awful? The poor narrator sounds like she’s falling asleep. I hope it was just a problem with the technology back then.

Gross immodesty that has zero to do with the plot. I stopped the video right away. Avoiding this author from now on. Yuck!
Well seeing that the author is no longer with us, that won't be hard to do. You should give the series a chance, they are great!!!
