Honesttly, a romance novel that starts with a contractual or out of conveniance marriage or engagement then grows into genuine love as couples get to know each other, has actually become one of my favorite genres, as it is resembles real relationship struggles more than anything. It's just hits differently now that I've been married for a while, and when the pink glasses of infatuation fall off, you realize that marriad life and, and your real spouse are different from your idea or fantacy of it. And after your pink fog dissipates, you realize that you actually have to re-learn to love your spose for who they really are. 😊
