This is the video that made me subscribe to this channel. Thankful for the short 25 second intro and then diving right in with very useful information. Thank you!
Hi Kennis! I’m binging your videos. This is so helpful. My last live was so glitchy I had to get off. I had my ATEM Mini Pro connected directing to the router. I’m trying to troubleshoot it. I’m wondering if it’s because I didn’t enter the exact IP address in. I figured out how to find the information to enter on the weekend. Can you think of any other reason. My speed test said everything was very good.
Thank you for this video, I tried to broadcast on YT with Atem mini pro, everything worked the first time but the second time they saw me but they couldn't hear me, any idea?
Hi Ken. You are doing a great job, please I just got this Atem mini mixer, can I have a link to your tutorials on full setup including how to link the interface with PC or laptop. Please.
I have been trying to stream to TH-cam by setting up stream key on atem mini with my computer. And then disconnecting from computer and plugging my atem Mini into ethernet port. it's pretty clunky ending the stream this way. next time I will load a slide that says thanks for watching - so isn't so harsh. Does that make sense😀 Thanks for the demo
Thanks a lot! 😊 Question: ATEM Mini pro has only analog audio input. How do you connect your digital mixer usb audio out to ATEM Mini pro analog audio input. (You said you’re using this in your Church livestream the service. I’d wanna do the same.) Thx
I want to stream games from my ipad pro via my MacBook and someone told me about this product. I literally don't know anything about streaming and that's my first time seeing atem mini pro in action. It seems so good. Some other guys are streaming with elgato hd capture card but I think I should go for the atem mini pro. What should I do? Also I will need a type c hub in order to connect everything together. My headset is wired and I want to hear the sound of the game from it. Should I buy a hub that also has a jack port? Or I can plug it straight to the console?
Really helpful and nice tips. The only thing I have notice to be able to go on air with the Atem software, the Atem mini Pro has to be connected to the Internet, it doesn't work only with the USB connection to the computer, at least one uses the connection as a Webcam. I have done it before only connecting the Atem to the computer and I used it as a Webcam. But at this time I want to schedule the livestream. Do you know if there is a way we can connect the Atem to internet using wireless?
Great video thanks. Quick question that on the schedules screen you cannot use the same streamkey twice. This means you have to change the key on Atem for each event. Unlike Facebook you cannot have a permanet streamkey. Is there any way using steam deck or Atem macro to change the key automatically? I have two keys for Sunday, Morning service and evening service so want to switch betten the two without having to train other people how ti use Atem software. Thanks
Testing a TH-cam livestream as you outlined, I am only able to stream from the webcam on my laptop. I'm confused as to how to stream from the other sources on my ATEM Mini Pro. I'm new to this device and am sure I am doing something wrong, as I don't see an option aside from the webcam on my computer. Thanks in advance for your help.
Hello Kennis, you have been very helpful through this learning process. But I m just getting blinking red light when i go to connect to youtube. What am I doing wrong? any help would be apreciated
We have that problem too - sometimes when church has more attendees than usual and the Internet speed seems flakey. Sometimes TH-cam ends the stream - sometimes it comes back. On our monitor we can watch the buffer filling up on the ATEM. We have Comcast about 10-11 Mbps upload speed. I am going to lock down all the IP addresses on our Linksys mesh network - the ATEM is wired into one repeater that sends WiFi to another Linksys node that is hardwired to Comcast. We have 5 Linksys nodes and 2 potential routes to the Internet.
great video, lets say i have 8 live streams in 1 day. How would I promote each event in the weeks before? Would you reccomend just sending out the youtube chanel page link?
hello Kennis . is there a way to do this on Facebook where you jus hit the on air button on the BMD atem pro and it automatically start going live as it did at the 9:58 mark on this video with TH-cam? if so can you show how to set that up?
Hello, thanks for your video. I'm a first time user of the ATEM Mini. It's connected to my pc via the Ethernet socket into a USB c port. ATEM software control is installed, key is copied. When I press "On air" nothing happens and TH-cam doesn't see my data. What could be wrong?
@@InnerPeaceSounds I got the same problem. If Ethernet port to do steaming, there is no extra Ethernet port for me to connect ATEM to PC to use ATEM software control. How can I solve it??
You have to go into your computers system preferences to allow it to Share Internet to a device. At least that what I had to do on a MacBook. Sharing/Internet Sharing . Share your connection from Wi-Fi to computers using USB
How does the ATEM Mini know to use the live-stream that is pre-set up, rather than going live? I guess what I'm asking is, how does it know what to connect to if all the videos in TH-cam use the same streamkey?
Very helpful i have Questions i hope you can help iam having issues at church after copy keyand paste just staying just buffering and don’t connect to internet or youtube need help
Is there a way to "go live" on TH-cam using an iPad? I could not figure it out today. The ATEM is setup properly, the stream key is correct, and using a laptop it works, but I can't get it to work using my iPad. Any ideas?
Macs don't work - PCs do in our setup - I think you can turn off the HDMI encryption on the Mac - I read somewhere on a tech forum (probably for ATEM mini) how to get it to work - not sure about iPads but I do know that my Mac doesn't work and my Mac also doesn't do HDMI on an old TV that works perfectly fine with a PC.
Do you want to put text on top of the video stream - I'm just exploring that - I read about keys on the ATEM (Google that and hopefully you can get started) and using the bottom 1/3rd of the screen in ProPresenter - that's one of the themes - now I understand why the text for hymns was all at the bottom of the screen when I visited a UK church. Our HDMI from computer is split to 2 streams - one to the church screens and one to the ATEM (computer is on button 3 but only PCs work, not my old Mac Pro).
Does anyone have problems with the ATEM overflowing its buffer because of Internet problems - I'd be very interested from church users to know what your upload speed is when you use the default TH-cam settings as in the video? We have about 10-11 Mbps upload from Comcast, but the buffering seems weak on the ATEM - does anyone else have problems?
how do you have the ATEM connected. both to your computer for controlling but also to get to TH-cam. Imagine your video I'm watching was recorded to a USB-C SSD/hard drive. I'm assuming you have to be connected to network with ethernet and then control through software. I've done all the same things you are doing while connected to computer with usb cable and it never seems to work quite right. Great video very helpful.
ATEM streams through the Ethernet port, not USB. You have to connect ATEM directly to your router. That's the main idea - streaming without a computer involved.
@@InnerPeaceSounds I got my atem extreme connected via ethernet cable to the router, but still don't receive the Go Live button on TH-cam to become blue and to be pressed. Any suggestions?
I like the idea of cutting to the sermon as a 2nd video - a very clear video - thank you.
Awesome Ken. Very practical, simple and clear

I have watched these streaming videos several times. In my set up I need to know the PC configuration. Need to buy the right one.
Thanks for the video. May I know whether atem switch are able to automate the live button..for example turn on, and straight go live

@Allan Francis lately I have been using Flixzone. You can find it on google :)

ATEM should be connected to a router, not a PC. The root idea of the hardware streaming is doing it computer-free.
