I just got mini pro if i had seen this yesterday morning would have saved me a ton … thanks man this is great help now i have to play around with mini pro while i see beat way forward 😊
Hi i am from Nepal and thank you so much for sharing such a great program that we need as we upgrade our technology, it looks like helpful and hopefully we'll get to learn more in next week. blessings
Hey Ryan, great video! I find your videos and your content to be down to earth, very well explained and most importantly, real. Unlike many of the other TH-camrs in the video production space that cover the Blackmagic products, your information is useful and practical. Keep up the great work!
Hi there. If your mixer isn't giving clean sound through an output, you should get a new mixer. 😄 There isn't a way to connect the ATEM via a USB to an audio mixer as far as I know.
hey ryan, kindly help me with setup of atem mini pro setup for zoom and youtube simultaneously with vmix streaming software. I have setup the both but the problem is im getting only single input audio to zoom but i need the choir audio and music audio also...Please help me out with it
If you're running your sound OUT of your house mixer and then into the ATEM, the problem is with your mix. You should be using a monitor, sub, aux (whatever your mixer has) output to the ATEM. Then, you'll need to mix that output separately from the house.
Sir we are taking audio and video from camera through HDMI cable for streaming with ATM mini pro but music is not coming in live only vocals are audible another thing is when two three members are singing that is not clear but every thing is clear in camera input audio but not in you tube live why ?plz help me i am sending everything for live streaming camera
If you're using a streaming software like OB or Vmix, it will have some audio processing capabilities. You can adjust the EQ to make the voice clearer, boosting some frequencies and reducing others. There are a bunch of TH-cam videos on EQing for voice. If you're using an ATEM Mini Pro, you should get an XLR microphone you can then run through a mixer of some kind and come into the ATEM Mini. Some powered mics can go directly into the ATEM. Then, the ATEM has some pretty powerful audio processing features through the control software. But its all in the EQ and the Compressor settings. I'm using an ATEM, but the audio in my video is actually running through my Rodecaster Pro. So I have the Shure SM7B XLR microphone running through the Rodecaster Pro II, and processing the audio in the Rodecaster. Then, when I edit my videos, I do a little EQing in the video editor. My live streams are a little more raw, but I still get the benefit of the Rodecaster's processing on my vocals. Hope that helps.
Not from HDMI on the ATEM Mini Pro. You can see program out on the Multiview, but if you want a full screen Program view alongside a multiview, you need an additional output. The ATEM Extreme has 2 outputs, and the ATEM SDI version of the Pro has 2 SDI outputs as well. And the Extreme SDI version has 4.
Is it possible to use the usb-c webcam to connect to obs or vmix in a laptop and using it to stream to another monitor via HDMI of the laptop? The mini pro will still stream and give an output for the multiview
I cannot recommend this product, the ATEM mini series. The HDMI output has a history of failing. I bought a unit a year ago and the HDMI output had gone bad after a dozen or so uses. Then recently I bought another one. This brand new unit out of the box had the same problem after a single day - I sent it back to B&H this morning. Next, I was getting some equipment at a broadcast rental house in Tempe Arizona and my sales contact had an ATEM Mini on his desk with the same problem. To top it off, my video engineer had an ATEM Mini that was flickering on the HDMI yesterday - he told me these ATEM Minis are prone to this problem. I'm moving to another manufacturer, probably Roland. Not worth the risk using ATEM products. They will go down for sure.
That's really weird. We sell these items all the time and have only had a couple have an HDMI output go bad. I've personally owned 5 of these in different configurations and have never had one go bad on me - though I am very careful with them. Roland is a fine company, though. Their equipment is great. Though, I'm personally a fan of Blackmagic Design and feel like they are keeping up with the advancing tech a lot more than Roland is. I'm sure that's just my subjective opinion, though. 😀 Thanks for the comment!
I get this question every now and then. From my point of view, none of the technology we use in church or out is from a Godly company. Check the brands of your microphones for instance and you'll probably see them spending money (your money from purchasing) promoting things very antithetical to Christianity. And then you have a company who's name was derived from a (or so I've read) a play on words, going back to a company pioneering a new form of digital video - and since it was new and not analog (it's magic!) they named their company Digital Voodoo... then formed a new company and kept the theme going. My opinion is, I'm not afraid of a brand name and using it doesn't make me a Wiccan. But others may have a different opinion. In which case, my only argument would be for them to reconcile supporting some of the other brands they have purchased from. Hope that all makes sense.
There is no thing as the BEST atem mini pro setup. And even after that, you don't even try. You just give a possible option for a setup. I consider this a click bait title.

Hi, can you connect the audio interface to the usb-c ports. Some mixers don't give clean sound, you filter noise using audio interface.

Hey Ryan how can we get our voice as crisp as yours?
Hey Moe,
What are you using to capture the audio? What kind of microphone, etc? How do you have that connected to the ATEM?
@@ChurchSetup we have a yeti x and it’s directly hooked up to a laptop.

Can SDI go into the aerial socket of a TV?
I don’t think so.
@@ChurchSetup Thanks, I am a newbie to streaming and did not know if there is any difference between SDI cable and coaxial cable used for TVs.
