I’ve done all of this but when I open my manage broadcast button (3:08) it gives me me the error saying live streaming isn’t enabled even though when I click the live stream to go live I don’t get the timer. Whenever I click go live it tells me my webcam isn’t enabled what do I do to enable it? On my pc I don’t have it disabled.

2 things to try. Make sure you go up to the help tab at the top of OBS and select "check for update". Then go back to the encoding settings section. Go up to the top bar. It may say simple or advanced. If it says advanced, then go to the encoder option. Select h264 if its available. Multipass mode and tuning should be visible if you did everything in order.

just one question about the bitrate. I got about 100k as my answer to all the maths bit, so what should I set my bitrate to in OBS, if i've configured it for 60fps at 1080p?

Remember, you need to go onto youtube and enable livestreaming and sit through the waiting period. Idk why they make people do that. They didnt use to.

Hi there. At the moment (until I can get around to doing my own course), I would recommend EposVox's course. He covers loads of professional use cases and every detail imaginable. Bit overwhelming of a course (which is why I want to do a pared down version tbh) but its great at the same time. Btw thats awesome you have been so consistent. Good work!

Not sure about the private part but you could schedule it and go into youtube manually and change it to to public if your having trouble with OBS changing it.

You are actually the only person I've seen say use single pass and medium preset. I have 22mbps upload, stream in 1440p with Yt's streamkey and I use 12,500 kbps and my streams are fine.

There is a lot of context thats missing. What are you playing on? What mic do you use? How do you have it all setup? What are your windows audio inputs and obs audio inputs set to? Etc...

Make sure its not auto logging in to the incorrect gmail or the gmail that was signed in first on the browser. Ive had it happen to me sometimes and accidentally chose the wrong email or chose a "manager" email instead of the channels actual email.

I wish it were as simple as press button = fixed. You would need to detail your settings fully, give me computer specs, internet speed, and I would need to look up that game to see what kind of codecs work best. My general recommendation is to lower streaming bitrate if you are on wireless internet thats semi unreliable. If you are hooked in then maybe you need to try a different codec or encoder. Like h264, h265, x264. Try a couple different games first and see how those look. If other games dont perform well then look at your stream from a different device or something to see how it truly looks to the viewer. If still blurry then you need to evaluate hardware. If hardware is solid then evaluate software. If software is solid then evaluate the game itself.

Hey brother great video, I plan on going live for the first time later today, but I got a bit confused when it came to the multiple GPU's, and determining which is best. My "GPU 0" is an Intel(R) UHD Graphics 360, while my "GPU 1" is an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1660 Ti with Max-Q Design, which is what allows me to run games on my laptop in the first place. I'm already assuming the NVIDIA is the better of the two, but could use the pointers either way. Thanks man
10000% the nvidia one is better. Make sure in the obssettings for the gpu field you put "1". Basically, all laptops come with a "integrated gpu/cpu" combo. This means that it has a smaller barebones gpu attached to the cpu in order to do basic visual tasks. But the Nvidia 1660ti, although not a strong gpu by todays standards, will be way more powerful than the intel gpu. The nvidia cards only job is to be a gpu and it lives by itself. Much like how an actual desktop gpu works. It is usually bigger than the integrated gpu so it can do more work. Good luck on your live session! Dont be discouraged if no one shows up or if it takes a few tries to dial in your settings to your specific internet speed and hardware limitations. Just enjoy talking to yourself and if someone shows up then great! Took me 6 weeks before I made affiliate on Twitch. Took me over 6 months before I had 30 consistent viewers. And that was considered extremely fast at the time. Be patient with yourself. Upload youtube videos built using your streams and get some traffic to funnel back to your streams to make growth quicker. You got this!

What source did you put in? If you want to capture the whole screen hit the plus sign in source panel and select display capture. If you want to get a certain application then you can do the same thing but pick a different option in the source options. I would recommend using your monitor as an "extended screen" rather than a mirror. Then you can select the display capture source and choose the monitor instead of laptop and just move stuff over to the monitor.

Hey, maybe you can be the last one to help me. No matter what I set up, I always have blur when I move and my camera is totally pixelated when I move around in the game. I've tried everything in the meantime. I have set the streamkey on TH-cam manually to 1440p60fps with 13mbit, I have taken the Nvidia NVENC HECV. I used P5: good quality as the default setting and selected HLS instead of RTMP for TH-cam. Nothing helps, what else can I do? I have 44Mbit upload and an RTX 3080Ti

I also run a 3080ti and have a 4k monitor though I dont know if I have ever streamed higher than 1080p because most people dont have internet speeds high enough to view 1440p. Really depends on service provider, location, and whether or not you are plugged in. Tbh 5.51mb upload speed is really bad for streaming. You need a decent upload speed to stream because you are sending (uploading) your stream data to twitch or youtube. You may need to drop down to 720p 30fps in the video tab, hopefully your stream will be a bit more reliable.

No problem. Until I can make a video (have been a bit swamped this year with client projects), the quick explanation (at least part of it), would be that he has is cropping, masking, and putting a border around his camera (I am doing something similar as you can see. He went for a rectangle box mask, and then he might have done the same for the screen capture source. He manually resized it then added a mask and border. The border can be made seperately. Everything for both the camera source and the display capture source can be grouped together with their effects and slid in using transitions. The globe in the background is just an animated overlay like the ones I have shown in my vids. Basicslly its just a video file on loop. Probably had it made on fiver or found it somewhere. I know thats a lot to take in but what this guy did is not actually that hard and you can do it too..
Obviously I am assuming that this guy did a live stream. If this stuff was added in editing then thats a whole different but also not difficult process. I do think its a live stream though.

Use GPU 1. The intel uhd is the dedicated gpu thats combined with the cpu. Its weaker than the Nvidia stand alone gpu.

Not sure on a laptop. On a desktop 68c would be fine but trending toward a bit warm.

Another potential reason is if you are downscaling. Check video tab and make sure your resolutions for base and scaled canvas are the same.

i have over a 1M kpbs can i stream 8k 60 fps ?
I dont think there is a single service that lets you stream 8k yet. And if there is, I wouldnt have any experience in it lol

I'm planning on streaming palworld. how do I make my wifi faster like yours?
Are you plugged in via ethernet?
Really depends on service provider, location, and whether or not you are plugged in. Tbh 5.51mb upload speed is really bad for streaming. You need a decent upload speed to stream because you are sending (uploading) your stream data to twitch or youtube.
You may need to drop down to 720p 30fps in the video tab, hopefully your stream will be a bit more reliable.
@@creatorcology okay thank you ill try that setting I will try streaming palworld. we have xfinity. I dont have access to the ethernet my brother mostly uses it. I think I do have an ethernet plug in on this laptop. gigabyte 16 gb ram 4060 rtx intel i7

@@CrazyGamer-tm2jj I spent a bit of time talking about bitrate based on internet speed in the video. I believe I linked YT's reccomendations also in the description and showed them on screen. I would check that again.

No problem. Until I can make a video (have been a bit swamped this year with client projects), the quick explanation (at least part of it), would be that he has is cropping, masking, and putting a border around his camera (I am doing something similar as you can see. He went for a rectangle box mask, and then he might have done the same for the screen capture source. He manually resized it then added a mask and border. The border can be made seperately. Everything for both the camera source and the display capture source can be grouped together with their effects and slid in using transitions. The globe in the background is just an animated overlay like the ones I have shown in my vids. Basicslly its just a video file on loop. Probably had it made on fiver or found it somewhere.
I know thats a lot to take in but what this guy did is not actually that hard and you can do it too..
Obviously I am assuming that this guy did a live stream. If this stuff was added in editing then thats a whole different but also not difficult process. I do think its a live stream though.
