Sooooo, I just made the chickpeas recipe, it's very tasty and very simple, but here a few tips: if you want to easily remove the skin (I used canned ones) just use the textile you're using to dry them and while drying make sure you gently roll them, the skin will get off. Still, I'm lazy and I left most of the skin, it still came out well. The only thing I didn't like was the "Italian spice" thing, the video didn't point out what herbs it was using and mine came out more bland than I would like. Next time I'll try to spice them up with pepper and paprika

Yes, the olive oil is healthy and are indeed good calories, but not in that quantity... 4 tbsp of oil is way too much and pretty much all grams of fat you need to consume in a day. (and there's fats in basically everything, so by doing this you exceed way too much)

Olive oil doesn’t have a high boiling point so it turns pretty toxic when used in baking. It’s best to use another kind of oil such as coconut, rice bran, etc and save olive oil for salads.
Cool video though and I’m excited to try these recipes.

We Love Food the amount of oil that is being used actually does not make it healthy at all... Look at the nutrition chart and make your calculations. If you write down what you eat and make the calculations through the chart everyday (I count calories and glucose), then it helps a lot. I wish you luck and don't forget to drink a lot during the day! ❤

Alice Dubois there are good calories and bad calories, like there are good fats and bad fats. It’s true that these snacks are filling, but they are healthier than junk food. The real stuff to look out for is carbs, sugar, and high salt levels. Everything in moderation tho

One thing buzzfeed doesn't seem to understand is that even though fats from vegetables such as olive oil are healthier than animal fats, too much is still too much. It doesn't matter what kind of fat it is if there's too much of it altogether. And there shoud be much more cereal grains such as rye. I know keto is trendy but you need fibers (especially those insoluble fibers) for your stomach to work properly!

    Should I try the fritters?
    They seem doable and filling.
But maybe won't be so tasty

Nothing is guilt free because nothing should be guilty! Life is too short to feel guilty about eating certain foods. Nothing wrong with eating healthy I personally love eating a healthy diet but that doesn't mean you should stress about eating something classed as "bad"

119 kcal / tbsp olive oil. I'd like to know the serving size of a lot of that stuff, I guess some of it is cooked off?
