I have always ridden and leased and owned horses that are over 16.2hh and the usual height of my horses is around 17.1hh, but then when I was looking for a second horse to buy and the horse I 'clicked' with is only 15.2hh! But he has the heart of a 17hh horse!

Don't put show sheen on his coat!!! Or at least where the saddle will go. It makes them very very slippery, and will cause your saddle to slip. My trainer tells us only to put it in horses tails, so they don't get tangled. But if you apply it to their necks and faces use a rag, not a brush so you don't spread it to your saddle area!!

Could anyone help me? I'm buying a bridle soon, but I don't know what kind of reins to get. I know the brand I want and they have 2 types of reins that are in the color I want. Should I get snaffle reins or no slip? I really wanted laced reins but they only come in brown :(

because at some of the small shows people still use show names
It's nice to have a show name and it will depend who she registers with, she may only compete unaffiliated anyway
