My mums friend was cleaning out and getting rid of all the stuff she didn’t want and she came across two saddles that she didn’t want anymore but didn’t want the throw away so she gave them to me. They are a Bates caprillie (not sure if I spelt that right) dressage saddle and a Steuben jumping saddle

Only because I got hats, make sure you roll it back over you head and not straight down, that way you follow the contour of your head rather than sitting on your temples which causes headaches (:

I have two thin line half pads and the thin line reins they are the best things I’ve ever gotten. Amazing quality and my horse has never had any back problems since.

Samshield is amazing! I tried Kep, KASK, GPA and Samshield (which are our leading brands here in NZ) and overall Samshield was my favourite, followed by KASK. Absolutely love my samshield, i just have the basic matte black one and i will not ride without it!! 😍❤️

I have one of those show shirts you got with the light breathable material. I live in Australia too and my dad got it for me for Christmas and when I rode in it, it was the best it wasn't as hot to ride in Summer

In my shows there are barely any shows in winter and in summer no excuses you have to wear a long sleeve shirt and a jacket which is extremely thick. I live in Australia to but in Tasmania

I tried the Bates Isabelle saddle,when i had my horse, and it is so comfy. Unfortunately we were looking at used and the owner didn't get back to us in time. So we ended up with another saddle. But if you can afford the Bates saddle and it fits your horse I would highly recommend it
the extra strap on the bates is to ensure more contact with your horse and the knee roll to maintain leg position, thats a flipping fancy saddle

LOVE THIS HAUL! But why did you pay $400 for that helmet? I thought you would get a nicer Charles Owen. I have a One K and its cheaper!
I needed a velvet one so I got the best velvet ones that they sell, One K aren't velvet
I love the design of the micklem bridle, I got one for my horse but he didn't really care for it ahaha he was exactly the same with it and with his usual bridle and I don't usually use a flash noseband on his so I went back to his normal caveson noseband bridle!
Except with my Micklem I got the original one like I got the Horsewear Ireland brand.
I just bought the bridle today!! I'm so excited it looks beautiful on Jep
Omg I like the look of the Prohorse multibridle so much more than the micklem, but of course I'm in the US. It looks like really good quality.

Nice saddle! The Isabel Werth is the nicest dressage saddle Bates do IMO.
It doesn't fit me that nicely though unfortunately, I prefer a flatter seat and also smaller knee blocks, basically no saddle fits my leg length unfortunately.
The only dressage saddles that fit me nicely are Amerigo and Equipe saddles. (Saddles That literally cost more than my horse 😭).

A half pad changes your saddle fit.... doesn't matter if there's sheepskin or not.
Yes it does sheep skin is adding more padding which is changing the fit
Not every half pad changes the saddle fit. I use a half pad simply for extra protection for my mares back and I use a shock absorbing one for jumping :)
it adds extra stuff on top of the horse's back and takes up extra room and makes it a tighter fit
jl_equestrian_ it only changed the fit completely if you put padding in it

If you don’t already ride with a KK Herm springer it specifically the double jointed bit you’ll find your horse does a lot better with it the bit changed my horses life
Is that the real Rambo micklem bridle? Never seen that style and they usually have the name on the top and it's a different shape lovely bridle tho I have a micklem bridle 😊

I got the same Charles Owen helmet for 20£ lol
1st of all i honestly dont understand why people buy $400 helmets! When you fall off and it breaks then that $400 throwen in the bin! Also Sheepskin under the half pad does absuotly nothing with your saddle! My saddle has a half pad with sheepskin the full way and it gives my horse more comfort:)

Just a quick note: if you like the look of samshield helmets, try the OneK helmet. It's the same style, and like $200 cheaper, with interchangeable liners. I love mine!
