Oh. Also. If u want burbles while you coast in 1st or 2nd gear, you accelerate until 4-5k rpm, then as the revs drop, you VERY lightly tap the throttle. This opens the fuel system, but the car doesn’t spark the fuel, causing some gnarly crackles and pops.
I get pops nearly everytime coasting at 10mph then stabbing the gas with the clutch in. I was breaking necks at the gas station today with a completely stock 19 wrx
@@xxkilroyxxx my 2017 wrx wont pop in any gear past 3rd. Try flooring it and at 3,500 let off throttle and pushit again after your shift. If you in a auto then hit it to that rpm range while your boost is building up then let off and give it a second throttle hit
For the last method the one you weren’t able to do, basically what you have to do is be in first gear and be driving around 3-4K rpms then slam the gas pedal and shift to 2nd gear at 6k rpms then you will get some lovely pops!
If you wanna get pops while getting out of first gear , go to 5-6k rpm and than press your clutch as fast as you can and leave it there for a while than you’ll hear some loud pops
Idk if its considered a tune but i lowered my intake to 85% and raised my injectors to 125%. You can do it on a higher end scan tool. It gives a nice backfire and pop. And it helps me remember to change my sparkplugs every 300 miles instead of the regular 30,000 or whatever the regular interval is😂😂
I get the best pops between 1st and 2nd. You can even take off gentle then give it over 75% throttle and clutch in and wait for the rpm to drop for 2nd. It pops and bangs the whole way and its just how i drive if I'm going quickly. And I also only have Remark muffler delete. I have a 2020 and factory short throw for reference/ science.

I have a 5.7 Hemi in a WK2. I don't know how or even why it popped and crackled a few mornings ago, it's never done it. I wish I could figure out how so I could do it again. It's a 6spd (auto stick)
Uh, you can make the muffler pop on stock. You just need to know when to do it. Temperature is a big factor. Though this is really hard on the car. Don't do it often.
I went with a sti resonated midpipe and remark muffler deletes. Never pops. It's a 2019, base wrx. I had the spt "performance exhaust" from factory and it had no guts and more drone than any exhaust I have had including custom straights. The spt midpipe was unresonated and it looked great, bigger, better welds and bends, but was a total waste of $1,100. The sti mufflers sounded so lame. It sounds very nice now, not too loud because of the resonator. But it won't pop or crackle, ever. Like never! Not saying these tips don't work, they obviously do! Just not on my set up. So now, i'm going back to the spt midpipe (unresonated) and the correct remark muffler deletes for that midpipe. Which is what I should have done to begin with, but from all the youtube videos I watched, I thought unresonated would be too loud. But I sacrificed crackles and pops. So, I will have remark muffler deletes, single wall, burnt (blue) tips up for sale soon. Fits oem wrx and sti, without spt exhaust. Cool video! Good job!
oh man that sucks! But the resonator is definitely whats preventing it from crackling and popping. But im sure it sounds much deeper anyways than without the resonator. But yeah I feel like most catback "non restricted" exhausts are a waste of money because it's basically the same as a custom piping. You pay the big price tag mainly for the quality and brand name of it.

When downshifting, "over rev-matching" is what gets mine to pop from 4th to 3rd and 3rd to 2nd, especially on a downhill. Also, I never knew about 2:24, I'll give it a try tomorrow, seems like something that I could use to let my friends know that I'm pulling up.
Great video homie! I knew how to pop; but not continuously. I just installed the remark Boso and let me tell you; it sounds awesome. I highly recommend it. I wonder how different they sound, from other remark models!? #ricekrispies
