Visit the Falcon Vortac (FQF) | G1000 Radio Navigation | Pilot Training

VOR (Very High Frequency Omnidirectional Range) and TACAN (Tactical Air Navigation System) are used by pilots for ground based navigation. A VORTAC combines the functions of a VOR and TACAN into one single unit. I hopped on my motorcycle and rode to the Falcon Vortac with the identifier FQF. And then I flew to the same vortac in XPlane. In this video I show how to tune in to a VOR frequency to navigate to the navaid.
