    This is such a good workout for seniors. I have spent the last hour trying out other videos that say they are step workouts for beginners and not one of them was appropriate for seniors. One tape actually has you jumping over the step to change positions. Most of them are just not safe! You and your mom do such a good job together! You actually care for your audience and are not like some of the instructors who seem to be there just to show everyone how fast they can go. I so appreciate you guys. Please don't ever stop making these workouts.

      I totally agree! I looked up step workouts for beginners and seniors and they were all way too much! I would definitely hurt myself lol.

    I use to step in the 80's and 90's.I just bought a new step and have been working out with you and mom.The one reason I chose you was you started with a warm up before and cool down after.That is the way exercise should be done.Keep up the good work.

    I used to do step aerobics and just watched this one for seniors. This is the best step intro I've seen for seniors. Bought a new bench and think this is great! You both got me started on my aerobic training with your 10, 20 and 30 minute workouts. I have done your pyramid workouts, and commend you, April, for your work with seniors. You are both the reason for my venture into returning to cardio workouts. I am doing great because of you. My heart rate and blood pressure are great now. I have more energy, pep in my step, and better balance. If I had not found yes2next, I might have become frustrated. I love both of you. Seriously.

    I was so excited to find your series of workouts for seniors! Not only do I need to be mindful of balance, I have not been active at all for many years. I always liked step aerobics (WAY back when) and even most beginner videos are too fast or intense for me. Thank you and your mom for these gifts!!

    After injuring my back and knee I was finally able to try this one and I love it. Using the step adds another dimension to my workout. I am thankful for all your workouts and in spite of my injury was able to do the easier ones so I could keep moving! I hope you continue for many years to come because you have become ‘friends’ I can exercise with❤

    Lol. You can see your deepest love for because you are so patient with her and make sure she does everyone correctly. I love how you always keep your eyes on her, it makes you want to cry to see the loving bond that you share with the woman that gave you life and you are showing her how much you want to give her one of the greatest gifts back by being in good health. Lol. You keep your eyes on her at all time. Lol you make sure she don’t cheat lol.

    I just started back about a month ago with doing steps, some of the others for seniors were a little much. I am almost 72 but LOVED this workout. I did have to go a little bit faster but yours were easier to keep up even though I did go faster in some areas, I was still able to stay with you. I will be doing these every day now. Thanks

    This got me back to stepping after more than a decade and in a safe zone. Always loved stepping, however, at 74 and not using the steps for so long I had lost my confidence. With your directions my body seems to remember and enjoyed it! More please, with increasing intensity and thanks to delightful you and your charming mom.

    I really enjoyed the step workout. I scoured TH-cam a few months ago for a beginner step workout and it was too fast for me. This was the right pace for a beginner. I hope that you do a second step video. Thanks A & A 😀

    I had become totally frustrated with beginner videos. I could not figure out the footwork especially when you step on right side with bit feet and left with both feet. I’d be twirling around when I stepped back because I couldn’t figure out the move. This has been going on for a year. I did senior step classes before Covid and had lost my coordination and memorization of the steps. When I did them slow with you and your mom I felt so relieved to finally get the steps back down. I am also suffering from plantar fasciitis and this is easy enough movements to get my heart rate up and not make my foot more sore.
    Thank you. I am excited to start exercising with you. It is not so fast, confusing and exhausting. It’s encouraging and uplifting for me. It’s like a burden has been lifted.

    Hey y’all Can y’all do some floor exercises. More stomach exercises please and butt . I love that they are slow. People had us believing that in order to reap the benefits was that you had to go fast or have very high endurance. You show us that we definitely can go fast and still reap they same effect. Anyone can gather how deeply you are in love with your mother and want to keep her alive and healthy for as long as you possibly can. It’s a little funny because we all can see that you are much faster than her but you keep your pace very slow for her and all of us other elderly senior citizens. Thank God for you and your mom.

    Love this!. As I get better at it I can always go faster. Or add a level to my step. Or both! I would love to see more step workouts when you have time to fit them in. The other ones on TH-cam are just way too fast. Thank you so much for sharing this one!

    I'm getting a step soon and tried this workout without one. I concentrated on lifting my feet as if I were using a step and, boy, are my legs tired!

    Amazing workout. I even had to use my sweatband,( wonderfu)l. Recently I went to my great-grandson's school play. got there a little late had to get seats high in the bleachers. At first I thought oh no!. But then I remembered , I've been stepping exercising. To my amazement I went right up those stairs and wasn't even breathing hard. And the same coming down! :) Thanks yes2next:)

    Yes!! I took this one about 1/3 faster and got my heart rate up and traveled at least 3K steps! I really felt this one in my legs. Now I need to find an upper body strength work out (hopefully with a M😻CHI appearance) to round out my day! Would love more step videos!!

    I have always been uncoordinated, so I loved doing the Step (in the 80s) I now have balance issues where even stepping up the Step is a problem. I put a chair in front of me for stability and was able to complete the workout. Thank you.

    To Mom, this one really makes the brain work. Sometime you and Alice are doing right when Alice says left. When you are on the side, then Alice says right and it's the right foot you use.. So keeping the on the correct foot for you Mom is quite complicated. I just watch and follow, because if I try to determine which is my right and which is my left y'all are on to number 3. Great going, Mom. Sorry I haven't yet figured out Mom's name.

    The way you help seniors do exercise looks safe and even thoughtful. This is what I need to learn. I'm glad I found your video. I've been looking for a stepbox that is lower that what I have, whichis 10 cm high. I have medical conditions that give me llimitation when doing exercise. The lower the box is the less impact it gets me I thin. Would you please ind out the brand name of the box the older guest lady uses?

      Hi there! We love helping seniors stay active and healthy. My mom is 82 and I am 58 so we understand the needs and challenges at these ages. It's most important to keep moving for any amount of time. I love the step because it provides an overall workout - cardio and strength, particularly for the lower body which is so important to keep you mobile. Here is a link to the Tone step that my mom uses: amzn.to/3HWyRIZ You are correct that the lower the step, the less your leg has to lift, and in turn, the easier and safer it is to exercise.       Thank you! Happy you enjoyed it! The Step routines do challenge your balance. So it gives you a measure of what may need to be worked on. Having good balance is important and practice will help to improve it! You did good! Keep it going and keep moving with us! See you soon! ❤️

    I really enjoy doing your workouts everyday. Was wondering if it would be possible to do a video for those who have had knees and hips replacements. Just a thought.
