    I’m the PDS school I just took a course called “Rebuilding the Relationship to Yourself: Self-Love, Self Compassion & Self-Soothing” it’s pretty dang amazing… all courses have work books. I love the webinars where you can get on and talk thru stuff with other folks in the school around the world. Sometimes we work on a particular course, other times it’s open share or sharing a communication script that you’d like input on… they also do morning guided meditations … it’s the best monthly money I’ve ever spent in my life!

    Thank you so much. 20 mins ago was in the shower pondering the last vids posted for FAs like me. I stumbled upon retraumatization in my head, and suddenly this new video brought it up. That's it for me, I'm there -- adjusting my comfort zone. Thank you SO much for being such a formative part of my lockdown year. Am looking forward to joining the school soon as I'm able!

      That's wonderful to hear Elijah :) We are so happy you are growing with us and are resonating with the content. Happy to hear we helped you learn and grow during the lockdown. That was one of our main priorities to help people look inwards and try and heal during this time of isolation. Hopefully see you in the school! :)

    Thais, I really appreciate this channel! The TH-cam videos ALONE has helped me to truly understand what wa the breakdown in my last relationship and it’s helping me to understand & communicate my needs with the new guy.
    I’ve even been able to pinpoint the he has core wounds causing him to want to run when I expressed being upset about something & my need. But bc of your content I knew to affirm him in a way that made him understand that I WASN’T about to abandon him just bc I had to put my foot down. 🙄😂
    I really loved our conversation last night and I’m excited about moving forward in a really healthy way. I can see us joining PDS together as our relationship grows.

    Most times it has nothing to do with the person we're dealing with. It has more to do with our past issues. When we find someone who has similar traits as someone who has hurt or neglected us, we tend to attach to them and try to get that need met no matter what. We have to be aware of that and work out the issue internally. We were not responsible for meeting our needs as children, because we didn't know better. But as adults, we are responsible to meet the needs we have right now, instead of trying to find people who will do it for us. That way, we learn self-sufficiency and that past wound and trauma will no longer dominate our lives and relationships.

    Sometimes the truth is we ARE being rejected for whatever reason. Throughout my life I have often been part of a group and its always clear I am lower in the hierarchy than the others - eg I’m part of the group but if its a group of three the other two will always have a stronger bond than with me. If people are talking in a group I will be of less importance than the others. If there is ever any conflict in the group the others will close ranks and no one will side with me. This isn’t my imagination or some story I’ve made up - it happens all the time. I can only assume it is an energy or look about me or my body language or my ideas and opinions. But I know it is definitely not my imagination or a story I have made up. To pretend otherwise would simply be lying to myself.

    Does PDS have a specific course to address pursuit of people who are emotionally unavailable? You mention the phenomenon here, just wondering if there's a specific place to start. Thanks!

    • @xnflg3074
      @xnflg3074 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Stop trying to pursue people who aren’t ready to be pursued in the way you naturally do. If it doesn’t flow, it’s not worth forcing.

    • @rebeccav7420

      Thais said " you choose emotionally unavailable people because you are emotionally unavailable to yourself", it's the subconscious comfort zone - the goal is to tackle that first, so I would say "Emotional Mastery and Belief Reprogramming" course.
