@@supreme188 I replaced them exactly as it's shown in this video, however it took me a while, because I didn't have the power tools!! Also I did not have to take off or replace the timing chain guides. It worked fine and got rid of the ticking noise.
Great job Pete, my 00 C230K, is rattling, I have a timing chain tensioner & chain kit from FCP Euro, I'm nervous to do the job so I may swing by sometime if it's okay with you and tap some of your wisdom. My car has 202,000 miles on her. I appreciate your vids & have used them to tackle other jobs. Take Care & God Bless!
Thank you! I just found your channel. Do you still work on followers cars? From the looks of it you do very clean work and I applaud that! I’ll gladly play for you to do it right
Good eyes. I fixed them before putting back together but I had already filmed everything. I was hoping no one noticed. I’m not sure if it matters but I had to pull them and fix them.
This car had I believe 115k miles and no change of timing Chain. I’ve never had to do a timing chain. They should outlast the motor. Usually only guides need changed.
I recently bought those oiler lubes for $18 a piece on ebay. Thanks for the detailed video.
Same bro doing this soon on my w210 e420
Do you have a tick ?
