- Replacing batteries has become more difficult thanks to serialization. In order to retain battery health the original BMS or BCM must be transferred to a new lithium battery cell. Without this process you will not have battery health and the phone will have a message for “non genuine battery”.

Some people are happy with results soldering. The risk with soldering is damage to the bms from heat. In my opinion the proper welding technique is the best options

Have you ever had the non genuine message not come up? I am using an ampsentrix core battery with tag on flex and am not getting the message after prompting to boot using the lightning cable. Any ideas?
That can happen sometimes. Just connect a different non matching battery to get the message and then after connect the matching battery and tag on again

Usually no, but depends on the spot welder
