  • No matter how well you treat your iPhone 11 the battery that powers it won’t last forever. iPhone batteries last, on average, around 500 cycles which means after 2 years of use, you're probably going to at least notice a decline in performance. But you can fix this problem!
    Make sure you follow the step by step guide on iFixit.com when you are doing your repair.

      @@jeffcharlesaerialphotograp1367 Of course it's worth while to pay $110 for a new battery if you have no choice. Point taken. I replaced battery on my iPhone 7 Plus but ripped the ribbon to the Taptic Engine so had to buy one off ebay and reopened it all all again. Wasn’t much to get a new one but it’s far too easy to catch or twist the ribbons.

      I won't speak for iFixit, but based on other iPhone battery repair videos I've seen, it's a lot easier to remove the pull-tabs with those components removed. With them in-place, it's much easier to break the tabs, which will make it a lot harder to get the old battery out without causing damage.

    My iPhone 11 Pro Max is stuck in a boot loop randomly during normal usage. It randomly booted to home screen and I got to settings then it turned off and back to boot loop.
    There was no spinning logo so I think it’s a battery issue and not a hardware issue.
    On your website it states a battery replacement may fix a boot loop.. how likely is this?
    Also my battery capacity was 83-84%
    No physical damage to device and no sim liquid indicator triggered

      Yes. The battery stores all the information in your phone. Same as a car battery. If you change the battery in your car it will lose all the information to make your car run. Never change a battery in anything. Do not watch this video.

    Really sad this is the last iPhone that still allows third party to replace it, because the new iPhone 12 is bond with software, if you change the parts, the phone will not function normally or not at all.

    I took my phone to a mall repair shop (not authorized) after repair the usual message comes up saying it's a unrecognized battery. The Face ID does work anymore tho my settings say the tru depth camera has been damaged and it has disabled faced id. Could it be possible this part could have been damaged during battery replacement? I try to talk to the repair guy but he tells me changing a battery has nothing to do with Face ID. But Face ID was working perfectly fine before the phone was opened up. He proceeds to show me that the front camera works therefore Face ID works but correct me if I'm wrong that is not the tru depth camera that the settings is talking about. I tried to explain this but he tells me how do if I know as if I don't know anything but I'm a pretty mechanically inclined person and watched plenty of these vids and have a good of understanding of what I'm seeing. It's really as if he's trying to tell some bs to get me to go away and he thinks he can do it because I'm a regular dude paying to get there phone fixed and hes the "expert"

    • @supercalaman01
      @supercalaman01 3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Hey sorry for the late reply, but no, Apple does that on purpose to make independent repair shops look bad. Face ID not working was done ON PURPOSE if you don't have your phone serviced directly by Apple or just cave in and get a new phone. You did the right thing supporting an independent shop, but just know that was done to persuade you otherwise. Other than face ID, your phone should work fine.

    Despite what you’ve heard, replacing your iPhone battery is extremely easy. All you’ll need: a spent nuclear fusion rod, a single tear from the Virgin Mary, 5 circus monkeys, a current written statement of consent from Steve Jobs, at least 10 years of bomb disposal training, and a blood sacrifice to Cthulhu.
