Can you please help me, today my friend’s iphone xr suddenly stopped charging but not off even. Thought it has a message displayed 0% remaining and not charging but when you plug in the charger it makes that sound it makes when you plug in a charger but still nothing.

Can it possible to rewove a BMS board from a new battery so an old one can be installed or I have to buy a battery without a BMS board ? And thank you for explain about different BMS board types, this is did not know that there is a difference
i tried it because of the „battery messages“but i couldn’t tin-plating the batteryconnectors…it seems like they are made off a material which can only be soldered with laser, and not with standard solder mask ( i used PB 60% 40 SN)

@@danieljack8297 Apple's battery replacement program isn't significantly more than having it replaced by a third party using questionable aftermarket batteries. You could replace it yourself, but what's your time and the risk of a failed replacement worth?

@@ps0freak you need a battery welder for it. Standard soldering iron is just not enough

Minute 3.53 pls check if the announcement is correct, when talking about the wight of the high capacity battery it’s 0.3g heavier not 3g heavier.
The high capacity is 43g while the standard capacity is 40g. So the high capacity one is 3g heavier than the standard one.
