GIVE THAT BOY A CAMERA!!! That full recovery video would have been gold.
Agreed!!
I second the motion for a Grader Cam! He sue seems to be livin the good life at FabRat headquarters!
Grayden looks like an enthusiastic young Paul. Using his imagination. It would've been awesome seeing him dragging the mower down the road.
Strap a camera on Graydon for a day & show the city kids how much fun their missing
I had to laugh a little when the guy from industrial pointed out that you didn’t know what you had 😂.
I have an 04.5 Cummins when I did my manual swap I wasn’t able to get the ecu flashed for a manual and to get everything to work I would’ve had to change all the wireing and the ecu and the body control module because they took parts from an 03-04h/o truck and new parts for 05,so they only work with what came in the truck from the factory. If you don’t change it all then cruise won’t work and if you have electric transfer case then 4 low won’t work.
Young Grayson is the apple of his old man's eye, you gotta love that wee man for being outside doing something constructive, learning as he goes and away from video games
I love that kid , sooooo cool . Me as a kid in the woods upstate n.y. Running amuck & living a great childhood.
I was wondering- how many times did Paul stop midsentence and do an internal thought- "geez - dad said that to me all the time" !!!
finger waggin' only stops with memory recalls !
I love this guy from Industrial, perfect humor, love the jokes!
I have said it before, and im gonna say it again! Every day that fab Rats uploads a video is a good day! I look forward to Sunday, Wednesday, and Friday, for sure! Doesn't matter how my day is going, it's always better when I can watch Fab Rats!!
Justin from Industrial is great and lots of fun as well, would love to see him back! Graders is a chip off the 'ol block as well- too funny how he dragged the mower so far 😂😂
Grayson has that same devilish look on his face as his dad when he's fabratting. Love it.
PS: Paul, some of your vehicles may be harmed in the filming of his future videos....
Do more stuff with that industrial injection guy, he's a real hoot!
ill bring my truck in and they can work on it!
That injection guy is a natural in front of the camera!
I love how you encourage your kids to figure it out for themselves
Dustin from Industrial was a natural fit with the Fab Rats. He didn't pull any punches. This video had everything from a near death experience, lots of banter and a literal tractor pull.
Grayson's the man determination at its finest, love how Paul encourages his kids to be creative!
Thank you for this one.. A Flash back for me.
At 11 years old, I fit in by the motor under the hood of our 68 GMC.
Changing out the head on a straight 6.
Grandpa watching,
Dad telling and yelling,
And me doing.
Your sharing the good times.
Jason, I know how that works. In the early 1950s, my dad and a friend of his were working on a beat up old pickup but couldn't get their fingers through the grill to release the hood latch. I heard, "Hey kid, come here a for a minute." My curiosity was running full tilt so I hustled over to hear, "stick your hand in there and pull that little lever." I did and it worked but looking back a few decades I should have been just a bit suspicious of two old guys calling the young sucker to watch him do something entertaining. I had a lot of fun hanging out in the shop and even learned a few things from them over the years.
Well it has been a few minutes since we've seen Paul execute the team moto, "We do everything nice cuz we do it twice!" This rig is really coming together NICEly!
Hunter is going to need to start getting paid hazard pay. Paul keeps trying to "accidentally" kill the poor guy. 😂
Same with his own. Hunter's becoming a proxy younger brother. They make a big deal out of not being related on other channels but I don't think either get offended. Gran'ma Lolly certainly treats Hunter like family....gives him heaps of stick, and plays along when he gives it back, just like when Ben was on the channel.
School of hard knocks graduate
Hunter is definitely proxy family. Look how long it took before they even addressed it. On 24 hrs they actually said something because they act like family.
Industrial for the win!! Funny how he let you struggle.
That red thing you guys got a a long time ago for working on engines seemed odd at first but what an invaluable piece of kit.saves your back and body and makes it easier.freaking genius
Gonna have to get one if I ever need to do serious work on my 04.5 Ram 3500 , changing the fuel filter was a hard job, standing on the brush guard.
Flat bed trucks are great to work from. So much easier than a normal bed.
True, but normally can’t be insured on a normal auto policy, since it is considered a commercial vehicle.
You all make the best videos on here. Shawn fits in so good. Love how you try to explain stuff for regular people. Keep being you
This was a hoot to watch i don't know what was more hilarious graysen dragging that old mower home with the side by side or Paul and the performance induction guy going back and forth😂😂😂❤❤
Paul, word of warning lifting a tray like that.
With that style hook it's really easy for a strap to slip off when you're dropping the tray. Get a big shackle to hook all of the straps into so they can't slide off.
Watching the struggle with the first attempt at setting in the turbo and manifold in separately reminded me of an old saying that my dad use to tell me when I was working at his shop…”you have to be smarter than the car”. Good job on getting the process figured out.
I'm so happy to see you coming to the dark side of Mopar, but I still think the old red square body should get a new engine. My 8 month old granddaughter loves watching your videos with me. She really enjoys the sound of Paul's voice. Thank you for the videos!
Dads look when hes coming down the driveway is one of oh lord what have i created but proud hes doing something
In his defence Paul he said there was an easy way and a hard way and you chose the hard way, lol. Just pickin on ya........ Love the look of that flatbed on there. Always a good time on your videos. Thank you for sharing
My favorite thing you have said in a while curl that bucket so you don't scratch the SEE-MENT. I love country folk.
Can't wait to see the Durmax get some love after the deer... And also can't wait to see the ole dodge put in some work again. Glad to see the taco back out showing people how to make light work out of a stuck vehicle. Keep up the good work. Hope Graders got whatever creation he was trying to build built like he wanted it.
Thanks for letting us see your struggles from start to finish unlike others that cut and come back and tell us what they did.
I think it is a right of passage that your Dad yells at you about holding the flashlight steady and pointing the to the proper place.
There is nothing better than teamwork! 😊 Thanks for sharing! 😊
I think the ShopCat has won over Grandma Lolli! Just look at her cradling that furball 😂❤
Dustin has always been a riot to work in the shop/garage with. Enjoy that new phatshaft 62 on there.
Nice towing that lawn mower home.
You obviously learned from the best ! 👍
That guy from Industrial fits right in with the F/R crew. Not sure whether thats a good thing or bad thing though. =)
That boy is def independent. Not much stops him it seems. I love it. Paul couldn’t have looked more like a proud papa.
Industrial is awesome! So cool to see them there!
That dude from turbo diesel Industrial is hilarious keep him around
As a powerstroke guy, I’m so used to taking the cab off to do this stuff, I need to keep watching this to remind me why I do it.
Good to see Hunter work more and more on stuff in the channel.
Never doubted your spirit and integrity but humble enough to admit everyone can benefit from asking for guidance. Well done
Showing by example in ever aspect..I love it
I lost my mom the other day and this made me laugh god bless you guys!!!
"A gasket, a turbo and two nuts...."
Why did my mind instantly snap to Sean and Hunter?!?!!!
Why do I watch Fab Rats?
It's not that they see the greatest Fabrication Experts!!
It's because of the close to real interactions with each other! And With a good sense of Family mixed in for good measure!! Your Christ like care for each other is super obvious!! All the best from Surrey BC Canada
Sometimes its the struggle that makes you remember your lessons,😉👍, great video guys, and thanks for sharing.
18:10 Wait, is it forged or billet. They are not the same. Everyone else's kid: playing video games. Paul's kid: dragging a lawnmower down the road with a side-by-side, then carrying it with a front-end loader... and knowing what curl is... and how to do it. This country needs more of him!
The apple don't fall far from the tree. Lawnmower racing season is right around the corner. Good for Grayson getting some good lead time for his build!
You nailed it with your discription of the trolls on the cantankerous comments section. It's funny how upset people get with something or someone, yet they are too ignorant to look inward. Keep on with what you're doing, you are killing it.
There is no doubt that those are Paul's boys! I love it!
It seems like everyone has a memory of being yelled at by their dad for not holding the flashlight right. 😆
That is how I learned to swear.
Not quite everyone! mine was the drop cord trouble light.😉🤪
That pup is very respectable in all the effort he put in to get that mower home. Well done lad!
In other news...What in the world was on your mind doing this video. You were off your stride old boy. We're very glad no one got hurt and nothing was damaged. Hang in there bubba. We ALL have those days. Thanks for the great content!
Flatbed comin along great guys !
Paul.."we trainem young, Good judgement comes from bad judgment"...LOL !! Works too.
Good idea using a flat bed as your run about work truck.
We use them a lot in Australia. Tubs are less popular for serious work.
A lot of tradesmen, or Tradies as we call them have Aluminium trays on their utes. Ask Merlin what a Ute is.
Keep up the Great work.
Jeff Sydney Australia.
My daughter was 10 yrs old, when she bought a 2 seat go-cart for $25 at a garage sale, and drug it home with my John Deere rider! I was at work at the time. She didn't let ANYONE know what she was up to! I came home to it sitting it the driveway with her tinkering away at it, and we had it running before dark! Talk about proud daddy moments!
"Yah that industrial boy." I think Paul he knows how to read the audience when your in another man's house / Shop he is the Lead. unfortunately you did say we'll do it the hard way. and he let you try it out... thanks for showing us the uncut tape. we'll know which way to go when we get there. thanks again good group of guys you Fab Rats :) 👍👍👍
Kids these days dont do a millionth of what grader does hes awesome
Watch out Hunter Paul gets western around the shop 🍻🤙🏻
Rember cameraman can't die. Hunter keep in mind lots of ouch can happen, stay safe.
Paul welding with his eyes closed while wearing a welding helmet always cracks me up! 🙂
My wife and I stopped by the Fab Rats shop during the springtime last year. I met up with Paul and talked talked about Toyota stuff. Before leaving I popped into the shack for the acquisition of some merchandise. Graden was manning the store that afternoon and the look on that young man’s face when he totaled up my purchase was priceless. Just classic. We talked about his life and what a normal day around his home was like. He’s my favorite for sure. Just a cool kid of a gear head dad that will likely be just like his dad someday. You made my day Graden. Thanks for talking with me that day.
One of the famous lines from my working days was “If it was easy, any dummy could do it”.
I replaced the turbo on my 6.7 cummins. Along with the manifold air intake and intercooler tubes. It was a pita. Did it by myself in my driveway under a tarp carport. Not ideal. But it's doable. Nice work gents.
Love what y'all are up to! It's great seeing you be able to spend your time with your family. Paul's relationship with Landon in particular reminds me of me with one of my best friends who was like a father to me growing up. April will be 10 years since he passed from cancer. He had a 03 24 valve 6 speed quad cab just like this one so its great to see someone putting the love into them to keep it around! I'm still trying to find one like it so I can pass it down to my boy someday.
PRO-FAB RATS, love your work creativity... Real pros......👍👏👏👏👏
The look's on your Face's when he mentioned the Waste Gate was absolutely Priceless. 😂😂👍👍✌✌
Hey Paul, how about giving Shawn more credit for what he contributes to Fab Rats? He’s very underrated!
Industrial Injection stuff is hard to beat 👍🇺🇸💪🏻
I'm liking that Dodge! Perfect ranch truck!
Morning Fab RATS Family!!!
BONUS day!!! Not only get to see the CREW, but cameos from Landon,Michelle, Grayden and Lolly!!!
Can't wait to see what plans Grayden has for the lawnmower!! I'm sure it will be as unique as he is!!!
👍Go Grayden, Go!! --
(you need to have a camera for your escapades!!!)
Safe travels, friends ❤❤
Stay FROSTY...
Keep your powder dry and your head on a swivel...
🇺🇸🇺🇸WWG1WGA🇺🇸🇺🇸NCSWIC🇺🇸🇺🇸
Lawn mower, just great teaching the kids how to haul/drag more trash home. The neighbors probably just love fabrats junk yard.
I love that kid... he is so independent....
Hunters laugh is hilarious. He didn't even realize how close that actually was to hitting him... keep up the great work and fun content..
Paul has it going on man, he's a mechanic, a farmer, a builder, and a certified smart-ass, lol. Michelle better treat ya like Gold, lol.
Gotta give Grayson full credit for gumption and perseverance!
Thanks for sharing 🇨🇦
My daddy was like Paul when i was growing up he let me pittle around with stuff and helped and gv advice from time to time i had a great childhood lol
Glad to see you're letting your kids experience things for themselves!
That Fab Rats cap was money! So so cool! Love our Fab Rats!
Ol Graders gonna be the next best thing on the channel. Mark my words!
Absolutely love you guys and brilliant how Paul just lets the kids crack on it’s brilliant don’t stop filming
@9:55 shop cat is living it's best life.
I have been driving forklifts for 23 years 8h a day, and there is no way in hell that i would go working or looking under suspended load
Something tells me that mower recovery was more interesting than he lead on..judging by the drag marks that thing was upside down for awhile.
New favorite quote..."everything is a little bit of work..."
When you are a Red Neck, every thing looks like a hammer when you are in need of one! 😂. 😉
Grayson just proves that the apple did not fall far from the tree! It cracked me up when he came dragging that old mower down the driveway!
Graydon is a spitting image of Paul. A perfect spitting image of him
I have an 05 with 238k on it. Runs like the day I bought it. Love that 5.9 Cummins.
Cummins Power ! I love my 1998 Dodge Ram ! Thanks for sharing your Misery !
Paul, you and your crew are definitely certifiable! Keep it comin'!
You definitely should give Grayden a camera seeing his recovery would have been interesting. He knows how to get the job done.
5:02 being under that flat bed while hung in the air like that was a huge safety NO NO 😖 People don’t try that at home ❤
26:35 Hunter’s side eye during this part great
I have been rebuilding car/ truck/ motorcycle engines for years. Retired now. Glad to see you jumping into the diesel world!! I got my first diesel powered 4 wheel drive vehicle in December. 2007 Jeep Grand Cherokee with a Mercedes Benze OM642 Diesel engine. Love it. Torque beats HP everyday!!
The flashlight story brought back many childhood memories.
We need a junior fabrat special.
Aaah - remember when you had room to get *inside* the engine compartment and work on the engine, instead of having to have a stepladder with a support to lay on? My dad and I used to work on a D100 Dodge with a 340 by getting in the engine compartment and then working on it. Good times.
Awesome as always. Thanks for sharing and taking us along
I remember the white smoke coming out. It was 2018, in Tok, Alaska, with my 04 Duramax camping the last night in Alaska before the 3700 miles back home. Started the truck in the morning and it was smoking. Didnt have a choice, so I drove it all the way home, pulling a fifth wheel. It was extremely stressful. Sold the truck two days after returning and bought a newer one.
The little man will be taking the new flat bed for joy rides before you know it!!!
Fab Rats You Tube cameraman almost films his own demise...
Stay safe hunter
🍻
Guys, you should buy a couple of new lifting slings, yours seems half ripped, covered in oil.. oh.. and if you wanna live, keep the slings on the closed side of the hook. I've been working with these for over a decade now, and I've seen my fair share of accidents! Keep up the good work!!
FLAT BEDS ARE THE BOMB GOTTA LOVE A TRUCK WITH A FLAT BED
Like Father, Like son. Someone's junk is Someone else's treasure. That mower will be doing donuts in no time.
